Summary: VISIOANIRE 26 - FANTASY
Review: Following on from the slightly dissapointing anniversary edition of visioanire no.25, no.26 - Fantasy makes up for it. It's style is very baroque, comming in a round box with 34 double sided discs, featuring photographic expressions of Karl Lagerfield & David LaChapelle through to an array of Haute Couture editorials featuring works by Givenchy, Lacroix & Versace, also included is a scene form Velvet Goldmine and a suprising mask by Hermes to add to the theme of Fantasy. This is definetly one of Visionaires greatest publications so if your in a fantastical mood put on your Hermes mask step off your gondola and enter this Venetian Art Gallery.

Summary: Great content but disappointint print quality
Review: I have purchased this issue of Visionaire. The content is wonderful complete with Hermes mask, various photo layouts and outfits from fashionistas such as Karl Lagerfeld, Versace, McQueen for Givenchy and etc. However, the printing quality of this output is below average considering the content. You would think that the publishers would invest more in using better printing quality and paper for such an "artsy" magazine collection. The quality is similar to the prints/posters one buys when one visits the former Soviet Union or the People's Republic of China.

Summary: My fantasy publication!
Review: This is one of my favorite issues, I love the round box that it comes in, kinda like a short (it's about 1.5" high) hat box. When you open it the first thing you see is the Hermes mask made of a leather-like material and a scarf with ribbons to tie to your face.

The pictures themselves are quite captivating. Perhaps it is the small section titled " Isabella Blow's Fantasy" that is my favorite.

I would give this 5 stars if not for some small production qualms I have for a publication of this price. The box mine came in has a slight "wrinkle" on the paper, I wonder how hard could it possibly be to produce a box consistently without wrinkles? Also, I agree with one of the other reviewers that the paper used for printing could be a little better, but I didn't think it was as bad as they said it was.

Still, this is an issue worth owning if you can still find one. I'm sure it won't be so easy to find one day!
