Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A very creative way to showcase the projects
Review: (I'm speaking from a architect's point of view since I'm a designer architect.)

This is the 3rd yearbook (1999-2000) for the Architecture in the Netherlands. The first one is for (1997-1998).

The one I got from Amazon seemed to have a different bookcover than the one Amazon shows for this title.

The softcover of this book has a eliptical sticker on it and is 160 pages long.

I found this book very informative, very intuitive way to describe each project. The photographs, renderings, diagrams, plans, sections, and list of credits are all well put together in a creative manner....You get all kinds of information for each project, not just bunch of photos without any reference drawings. It's a very graphically sound book, yet in a very organized manner.

Besides some of the well known projects in this book that have been published in some US architecture magazines...It's nice to see some less konwn architects' projects to be included in this book also.

Overall, it's a good book to buy if you are interested about the recent projects in Netherland. Another similar book that I recommend is:

SuperDutch : New Architecture in the Netherlands by Bart Lootsma, hardcover, 256 pages
