Review: This is a great book for those who can't read Japanese and want to know more about Shugendo,Mikkyou,Shinto,and Japanese spirituality.The book is centered around Kagura which is a type of shamanic dance used to become "one"with the Kami in particular Yama no kami.The books goes into detail about the dances and rituals that is used by the Dake school it also gives information about beliefs of Shugendo as well as the famous Kuji-in.This is a great book to help understand Shugendo and the Yamabushi.
