Summary: great ideas great photos and normal LV excellence packaging
Review: Here's the deal. 7 boxes in Louis Vuitton cases each one containing 16 cubes - all lines up on one side a perfect photo, turn the cubes one way and helter skelter....you have to reconfigure them to create the next photo. Quality is usual suberb excellence from Gan and crew. I am not sure what Amazon is selling as I understand that there are definelty 7 boxes each from a different world area such as USA, France, Italy, UK, Japan, Australia and one Scandinavian country. Ed of 6000 and as I understand it they are $150 each times 7 boxes. The collectors have to have them but that is big big bucks. Quandry. Editions keep growing as does price. But they are marvellous. Display copies in usual places.Easch box comes with booklet containing full photo and artist info.Good for Visionaire - they always credit the artist. Usual suspects - La Chappelle, Testino, and crew. Now the pic Amazon has is the US version --where are the others

Summary: The Game
Review: The Game is inspired by the Louis Vuitton Cup, in which seven countries participate. Artists from the representative countries were asked to come up with photographs, drawings and paintings that were intepretations of "The Game". These could be mind games, sports, it was left open to artistic interpretation. Hence each country edition consists of 6 different images, that can be arranged with the 16 cubes that are provided. Each image created by the cubes were the result of artists/fashion designers usually of the representative country. Karl Lagerfeld for France is a notable exception. A note on the quality of The Game. I was slightly disappointed at the quality of the finishing with regard to the French Edition of The Game, since Visionaire is usually a high quality enterprise. The colors were not crisp and the printing looked cheap. Overall the finishing did not reflect the relatively high purchase price. The idea of using cubes to form different images is fairly interesting, and the high collector value is what in the end redeems the cost. It makes a nice display item, because of its uniqueness and unconventionality. There are 6,000 pieces being sold of each country edition, i.e. USA, Italy, France etc. Some of the earlier Visionaires only had 6,000 pieces in total. In short, if you want a piece of art, that's comparatively affordable, yet also a good investment I suggest purchasing it. If however, you are expecting 150 Dollars worth of quality, you'll find yourself feeling slightly cheated.
