Summary: Finally, somebody who can write for the theater
Review: I usually can't sit through a whole play or read the whole book of a play. The writing is usually so bad I have to get up and leave or close the book. But this Eno guy is different (and so are a few others, Shakespeare, say, and maybe also Stoppard, and DeLillo too when he writes a play). Eno can write and he can write for the theater (and the play also plays).

Summary: I'll Tell You What's Tragic
Review: What's tragic is that more people aren't familiar with the genius of Will Eno. Okay, maybe it's not tragic as Aristotle would define the word, but it's still a damn shame. Eno is one of the best writers going. Tragedy: a Tragedy is many things, including a comedy, a lyric poem and a lament. Some have mistaken it for a satire of TV, but Eno knows TV does a great job of that itself. This is a play about all the utterances flying about us every day, and our doomed if well-meant attempt to shape something useful from them. That's my interpretation, anyway. Get a copy and make up your own. One day, on your death bed, you'll at least be able to comfort yourself with the knowledge that you were onto the Eno thing early.
