Review: "Vellevison" offers a perfect mix of Maurice Vellekoop's artwork and strips, from his earliest work to his later magazine illustrations. His Paris Couture Diary 94 for Vogue magazine is a particular favorite. He mixes a cultural cocktail that is smart, sexy, and at times a thinly disguised autobiography. Page 50 is the very definition of camp. I can't recommend this book enough! It has something in it that will make everyone you know smile.
