Summary: Simple to difficult - this one has it all
Review: I have read several books on scrapbooking since I have begun this hobby and this one is by FAR my favorite. It is so complete. It jumps right in, getting you thinking about all of the pages and books you could do. All the while, they are teaching you the basics and adding more challenging techniques as they go. You feel like you are getting to know Anna and Debbie, since they share pictures of their families with you when they show the techniques on each page. They separate all of the ideas into the months of the year, which helps you see what all you can do with scrapbooks. If you scrapbook and don't have this book yet, you need to get it!

Summary: Great book even for a 9 year scrapbooker
Review: I've been scrapbooking for 9 years and I still got a lot of ideas from this book. Ideas for albums, techniques, journaling, page design, photo shoots and how to take better photos. I look at all the books around and this one is the best for anyone past the beginner stage. Compared to all the booklets at the scrapbook stores that cost $12 this book is a huge bargain. It is loaded with information.

Summary: Comprehensive and Beautiful
Review: If you only have one book on scrapbooking in your personal library, let this be the one. It covers every subject from supplies to journaling, with a wealth of information on actual scrapbooking beautifully illustrated. The layout of the book is wonderful, a visual treat all on its own. There are many books that will help you create cute scrapbooks, but if you want to become a scrapbook artist, this is the one for you.

Summary: Superb Reference Tool
Review: Loved this book, it covered many aspects of scrapbooking as a whole not just how-to's or designs. It covers each month with tips on many various sub-categories which I feel really taught me a great deal. It will be a superb reference tool.

Summary: Inspiration for tired scrappers on every page
Review: Most books on the topic I buy, then pass on to someone else. Not this one. Not only does it cover basic techniques, it inspires readers to try something a little different on their pages; stamping, hand-cut titles and elements, watercolor borders, to name a few.

The book is arranged by month, and the examples for each month give new ideas for photo opportunities. A scrapbook will only be as good as the photos in it, no matter how creative the layout, and plenty of tips for improving your picture taking are included as well.

This book is one I continue to look to for ideas, even after doing seven scrapbooks.

Summary: A Must for New Scrapbookers
Review: This book is a must for anyone who loves to scrapbook or is just starting out! It covers many different techniques and pointers for making your scrapbook a treasure. Color pictures are a highlight! Plus it takes you through the 4 seasons for great ideas. This is the book all my friends want to borrow!

Summary: Not impressed
Review: This book was heavy on artistic, time-consuming techniques. It was also laid out in monthly format, so things seemed scattered throughout instead of grouped together.

Summary: Undoubtedly the best scrapbooking ideas book I've seen.
Review: This is one of the best books I have seen on scrapbooking and in craft generally.

It has a huge variety of projects, with technical tips and new ideas mingled through it. The language and instructions are clear and the photographed examples are creative and inspiring, yet achievable for anybody. At the end, there is a very detailed resources list so you can easily locate any of the products they have used.

The book is attractively presented and delightfully uncluttered.

This is a book I am reading word for word, cover to cover. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
