Summary: Deserves a Place of Honor On Any Collector's Book Shelf
Review: I have long been a fan and collector of Nazraeli Press's exquisite line of photographic books, but this one is the crown of my collection.

The pages of this over-sized book are lovingly reproduced to the point where I can barely tell them apart from van Dongen's original prints that I've viewed hanging on the walls of Wessel O'Connor Gallery in New York.

By photographing his botanical subjects in black and white, van Dongen affords the viewer the opportunity to gain an even deeper appreciation of their form and the subtle ways in which light interplays with their form.

If I were not so certain that this book will one day be a valuable collector's item, I'd cut out the pages, frame them and hang them on my walls!
