Rating: 5 stars
Summary: excellent reference for home inspectors
Review: Every home inspector in the US should have a copy of the valuable code book because it addresses residential dwellings only under the 4 diciplines; Construction, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems. Jerry McCarthy

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good reference book to keep
Review: I initially bought the book to complete a construction class project. Now that I am in the industry, I find myself continually referring back to it. It is concise and easy to navigate.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: required in UBC areas
Review: It may be interesting to note: barring local exceptions, compliance with this code book is *required* in areas covered by the UBC, for single- and 2-family detached residential construction. See 2001 UBC (Appx Ch 3, Sect 332).
