Summary: Too lovely for words...
Review: ...but I'll try anyway!

Hermes has contributed to Visionaire before (issue #26 Fantasy) but this issue is far, far better than the previous attempt (and some other attempts too.) Everything about this issue says luxe, from the signature Hermes colored box to the leather case that holds the postcards themselves. There's even a nice little pencil for you to use.

The postcards are printed on a very nice thick matte paper, better than your run of the mill "off the rack" postcards. They are also not the size of ordinary postcards, the Visionaire postcards are longer, slender and sleeker, you may never want to mail them! Each photo/picture is beautiful in their own respect, from top notch talent as usual, but I actually found myself more impressed with the designs on the "backs" of the cards.

Every card has a different pattern on the back of the card where you would put a stamp and write the address along with your message. The patterns are very elegant and fine, like the lines/patterns on American money you see sometimes when you look close at the face or backgrounds. There are swirling dimond shapes, concentric circles, zig-zags, rectagular medlies... I almost wish they would make wrapping paper with these designs!

This is probably one of the best Visionaire's of the bunch to date, if you can only afford to splurge on one Visionaire, then let this be the one, you won't be sorry!

Summary: WHERE?
Review: Visioanire is finally making its strong comeback in their couture magazine publication. Where? is in the same league alongside Visionaire 18 and Visionaire 24 which have cemented themsevles as the cream of all visioanires, the must have magazines to make your coffee table totally eccentric. The whole process of getting to the natural leather travel guide by Hermes is unreal. First is a black box with Visonaire 32 on it then inside this is a Hermes Box which then holds inside it a Hermes Bag which holds the leather guide within it. Then inside the leather guide is 50 postacards depicting the magical imaginative location of Where? made from the likes of photographers Martio Testino, Peter Lindburgh, Bruce Weber, illustrator Mats Gustafson, art director Fabien Baron, artist Nan Goldin, Wolfgang Tillmans, Oliver Wasow, Jeff Burton, Lauren Greenfield, filmmaker Pedro Almodovar, fashion designer Hussein Chalayan, musician Micheal Stipe and many more. Alongside the 50 postacrds is also a Hermes Pencil. A brilliant publication at last. This will definitely sell out in being only limited to 3300 copies world wide.
