Review: Best put, this is a great if not excellent, if not really good, if not hot, if not lush filled, if not wet book.

I was dazzled by the photo's.

I was confused by the text that was excellent.

I was thinking that I need to find a porn star to live with and have her support me in Decatur. I have recently lost 302 pounds and think that I may be attractive enough to attract a porn star of my very own (even though I am a female and still weigh just a little over 230).

Anyways, I would suggest and even recommend and even stress and even ask and even tell you to buy this book already.

Makes a great coffee table book especially if you have children.

Summary: BRINGING TWO WORLDS TOGETHER
Review: GREENFIELD-SANDERS' WORK HERE IS ALMOST SCIENTIFIC IN APPEARANCE. THE NEUTRAL BACKDROP ALLOWS TO VIEWER TO EXAMINE AND MAKE COMPARISONS BETWEEN THE CLOTHED AND THE NUDE IMAGERY. IT'S VERY INTERESTING TO COMPARE THE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS AND TO SEE HOW THEY CHANGE ONCE THE CLOTHES ARE GONE. IN MOST INSTANCES, THE INDIVIDUAL APPEARS MORE POWERFUL AND SELF-ASSURED.

IT'S ALSO VERY INTERESTING TO COMBINE SUCH DIFFERENT MINDS INTO ONE PROJECT. YOU'LL READ A HILARIOUS TALE BY JOHN MALKOVICH ABOUT HIS FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH PORNOGRAPHY, THEN FLIP TO A PAIR OF IMAGES OF RON JEREMY(THE HEDGEHOG), AND THEN FLIP AROUND SOME MORE TO READ THE HISTORICAL APPROACH OF THE SUBJECT FROM LEGENDARY GORE VIDAL..... IT'S JUST A REALLY INTELLIGENT, FUN BOOK.

I'M ANXIOUS TO SEE WHAT'S NEXT FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER.

Review: Hey I personally have met Jenna Jameson and Ron Jeremy at Internext in Las Vegas and they were so cool!!!
This book definetely exemplifies that porn is mainstream!
The pictures are beautiful (the nude and non-nude photos)
of all the porn stars showcased in the book.

And my friend, Lukas Ridgeston, is also featured on the back cover of the book!! He is one the sweetest and kindest gay porn stars you will ever meet.

I am very happy that this photography book came out to showcase that porn stars can be beautiful and can be photographed in a tasteful manner.

Timothy Greenfield-Sanders really shows that his work can be put into a coffee table book filled with porn stars, and who would ever that up?

A great collectible photography book, even if you are not into porn stars.

Review: I've seen Timothy Greenfield-Sanders' work before, and was curious when I saw this book. I was surprised by how some of the adult stars looked sweet and innocent with their clothes on (like Sunrise Adams) but then morphed into their adult personas with their clothes off. The photos, shot with a large-format polaroid, are an amazing study in portraiture. I literally stopped when I got to Tawny Roberts' photos; she stares out from the page with such wide-eyed clarity that you can't help but stare back. Her eyes and expression spoke volumes, which is exactly what the photographer hoped to capture.

Summary: INTERESTING AND BRILLIANT PHOTOGRAPHY
Review: let's be clear on one thing: although the book may feature porn stars this is not a smutty book of pornography, but rather a dazzling book of fantastic photography showing these people in a way they are not used to being seen. The photography rivals anything you'll see in Playboy by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, a talented portrait photographer.

Accompanying the photography are brief essays and comments by those in the business as well as other actors, writers, etc. It was particularly fun to read about Ron Jeremy who seems like such an interesting guy. I've recently watch the HBO special that documented these photo sessions and was equally impressed with the very down-to-earth attitude of these porn stars. Nina Hartley is particularly impressive as she talks about being and "old" porn star in a business that is typically populated by 20 and 30 year olds.

Summary: This shows you into the "normal" side of the adult buisness
Review: This book has more than pictures. It shows you how buitiful these actors and actresses are with and with out their clothes on. The photos are very tasteful and honest. I like the fact each star has a short bio page telling us how they broke into the buisness. Some good interviews and even better essays. This is a must have for anyone interested in the adult film buisness.

Review: This book is absolutely beautiful. Don't pay any attention to little children who talk a lot but don't know anything, such as the reviewer "Joe Cool" below. I personally have a good friend/ex girlfriend in the adult film industry and can tell you that it is not as bad as people would have you to believe. Greenfield-Sanders did an excellent job with this book, as he does with everything. This is definitely high art, not some low-brow porn magazine.

Review: This is not a pornographic book. It's art. All the photos are great, especially the one fully clothed. In regular clothes, these stars lose their pedistals and are just like normal people. A great aray of stars from Ginger Lynn to Briana Banks.

Review: Timothy Greenfield-Sanders' photos are stunning. The models are incredibly diverse in size, shape, appearance, and sexuality. If you think all pornstars look or act or think or feel the same, study the photos and read the biographies in the back of the book. Greenfield-Sanders' subjects are as diverse as ... well...real life. This book manages to tear down any stereotypical image one might have about porn stars.

The collected essays are diverse, as well, reflecting the backgrounds and histories of the authors.

Yes, I'd put this book on my coffee table. Yes, the pictures are great, and yes, the book is more than just the pictures.
