Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Excellent***
Review: For a young actor, this book provides clever comic monologues from contemporary plays. Included is a monologue from JOHN LEGUIZAMO'S "The Freak", in the style of his off the wall, zany, fast-paced humour. There are monologues for all age groups, from the 20s to the 70s. I would not reccomend this for the teenage actor, but for the mature beginner. It provides room to grow and monolgues that are flip, cynical, and very sad.
