Rating: Summary: TONS of COLORFUL coaster pics. Review: This book is out of date, but it has great coaster pics. I wish that the author would revise this book - add more up to date coasters and more park reviews. That would make it great.
Rating: Summary: This is THE Rollercoaster book for you!!! Review: This book is, without a doubt, great. It shows the history of coasters, where they are, and where they are going! It has designer profiles in it too. I must say this though, it has a lot of typo's in it. A little bit of wrong information, but the pictures are great.

This book covers almost everything you would ever want to know about roller coasters. The only drawback is that it dosent have the newer roller coasters (ie. Millenium Force, The Incredible Hulk)

Rating: Summary: Wooden Wonders, Parabolic Feats Review: This is a marvellous guide to roller coasters around the world, from the new, parabolic kind (e.g. Steel Phantom - Kennywood Park Pittsburgh, Viper - Six Flags L.A.) to the classic wooden coasters such as Thunderbolt (Kennywood), Collossus (Six Flags Great America), Comet (Six Flags Great Escape) and the Cyclone (Astronland, Coney Island). It also reports on the extremely exciting developments in Europe (Pepsi Scream Machine - Blackpool; plus the new wooden wooden sensation in rural Wales). For the devoted enthusiast this is the ultimate guide.
Rating: Summary: Nice Pictures, not for persons seeking acuracy Review: This is an excellent book from a photographer's stanpoint. I found many mistakes although. There is a lot of misconception of facts. It is still a nice book to have for a roller coaster fan.

Rating: Summary: Roller Coaster: Wooden and Steel, Twisters and Corkscrews Review: This is and excellent book for anyone interested in roller coasters. Everything in it is great, photos, history (nice old photos), how coasters work, important players in coaster developement, and great sections on amusement parks and popular roller coasters. Remember that this book was published in '98 and does not contain newer designs and coasters, but this book is still excellent!
