Review: If you are looking for a good roller coaster book you gotta own this one. It has the whole history of roller coasters and great pictures. It is personaly one of my favorite books of all time!

Review: If you like riding wooden, steel, twisters and corkscrews roller coaters, well, you would like this book. It gives information on roller coasters and how they work. It shows some of the best roller coasters in the world. On the back pages it has facts on the oldest rollercoaster, the longest, tallest and fastest, most inversions and loops, and the most roller coasters in the park.

Review: Roller Coaster by David Bennett is a must-buy for roller coaster lovers. Although filled with various spelling and wording errors, it contains great information and fabulous photos. If you are somewhat interested in roller coasters or amusement parks, buy this book, you won't be sorry. Happy coastering!

Summary: This is one cool book!
Review: Some of the pictures in this book are phenomenal. The book focus on coasters from around the world not just the USA which was a nice change. The latest advances in coasters eg. floorless, make the book a little outdated but generally coverage is comprehensive and very readable. There is a gazetteer which labels almost every coaster in existence - interesting stuff. I particularly liked the section focusing on amusement park companies eg, Disney, Alton Towers. The chapter on the physics of a coaster is little unclear but overall the book is informative and VERY hard to put down! The hard back is an added bonus for the money!
