Rating: Summary: An Excellent book of DIY-Punk Comics Review: If you've been to a DIY Punk show in the past 10 years chances are you've seen Seth's art more times than you think. His black and white drawings are perfect for DIY-Redistribution. They make a point, and are super easier to photocopy or silk-screen. What does Seth Write about and draw? Everything from direct, non-abstract politics to the personal and surreal. His writing commentary is short and astute. Each Frame is (usually) stand-alone. He show's a brilliant mastery of shadow, and it's truly amazing what he can convey in black and white. I think the high-light of this book is the Mumia docu-comic. Done in color, it's a really informative, and really emotive. I recommend this to you if you're planning on releasing a record, screening some patches, making a flyer for a show, or most importantly, want to enjoy good-ol' fashioned political and punk cartoons. His Zine World War III is also highly recommended. Dustin
Rating: Summary: A "must have" book for every reader Review: The powerful graphics and engaging text make this book a "must have" for everyone who knows who Peter Plate is, who has listened to Nick Cave or been to a Fugazi show. Excellent in every way.

Rating: Summary: Communist Manifesto In a Comic Panel Review: _You Don't Have To Fuck People Over To Survive_ is a gripping collection of images, comic strips, and visual history. Both political and deeply personal at the same time, Tobocman takes a stand on Mumia Abu Jamal, Israel's military-industrial complex, relationships and the world of bosses, bastards and bohemians that populate New York City. The words aren't as important though, one of Seth's panels would be as powerful pasted up on a shattered wall in Belfast or New Delhi as it would in your hands. And he's right you know, you don't have to fuck people over to survive. Or yourself.
