Review: this is an excellent book if you are looking for a comprehensive chronology of Bihzad's life and work. The color reproductions are beautiful, and the text is succinct and easy to follow. There are several works included in the book that are thought to be by contemporaries, and the author supports his descriptions of Bihzad's style by pointing out the stylistic flaws in the works that have been attributed to Bihzad but are not actually part of his repertoire.
