Summary: Great anthology of art
Review: Wonderfully developed piece of art! This book describes not only many major pieces in the museum but also gives an extensive history of the museum itself. Many great photographs of beautiful, historic holdings of the museum. This book brings back fond memories of walking through the halls of the Louvre! The major drawback to the book is its weight, but the Louvre does contain a large portion of the history of European art. Great with its companion book. RG
