Summary: a joy to look at
Review: This book is a gem - it is full of Mrs. Martin's beautiful, colorful and inspiring paintings. She writes well and packs lots of instruction into the pages. Her setups are so unique that they make you want to try some on your own floor. I am an artist, and use mostly soft pastels but got alot of helpful information from this book. She blends realism with abstraction in a wonderful proportion. Her technique is worth copying. But above all, the beautiful artwork is inspiring - causing the artist to pick up tools and paint.
