Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A nice collection of 46 classic movie poster reproductions
Review: "Science-Fiction and Horror Movie Posters in Full Color" presents full-color posters for 46 films including "King Kong," "Godzilla," "The Illustrated Man," "One Million B.C.," and "Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman." There is something to be said for the era of movie posters that featured bug-eyed monsters and scantily clad women and Alan Adler's collection presents some of the choice examples of such works of pop art. Any collection that includes both Raquel Welch and Allison Hayes knows what it is doing as far as I am concerned. This book is slightly oversized so these are still mini-posters, but this is not a bad deal for aficionados of the genre and an easy way to adorn your classroom or dorm room with some classic movie posters.
