Summary: Even better than the eating cheesecake...
Review: ...is having a second slice. I've got to tell you, when I ordered the Second Slice, I wasn't too sure. I knew the first compilation of Olivia De Berardinis was wonderfully complete (the preliminary sketches were a real treat), but this one goes even farther. It's unique 2 book in 1 layout and the interviews with not only the author but her husband and her models make this "Second Slice" even better than the first taste.

Summary: Thrilling To My Virgin Eyes
Review: How do I say this... I'm 16 years old and I've always been a little bit of a weirdo to say the least. This in addition to the fact that I'm female. So my age and sex has a small bit to do with me ranking this book a 4 and not a 5. I find the pictures inside thisbook absolutely beautiful but i wish there were more fantasy and unrealistic pictures in there instead of the book being helf filled with everyday naked women, only half of the women are fantatical the rest are just women exposing themselves. But I was quite glad that it wasnt all raunchy or anything. However being a highschool student myself I would not recomend buying this for anyone under 18, hehe, unless of coarse they are mature e n ough to handle the adult content that can only be admired by those people that have the upmost respect for fantasy and art alike. All in all a good book, beautiful art, just too many ordinary women.

Summary: I enjoy the art of Olivia more then any other artist
Review: I have never before seen art like this of Women in any matter that ever caught my eye the way Olivia does . My boyfriend Nathan has Olivia art conceiling almost every inch of the walls in his room . Hes 28 years old , and I love the fact that he can hang such art around the room that I enjoy as much as he can .

Review: I love Olivia and everything she does, including this book. I just received mine today and IMMEDIATELY sat down and ravaged it! It is glorious and refined. I have probably gone through it at least 17 times today and will go through it again another 17 times tomorrow. I never get tired of perusing the fantastic and erotic images she creates. I wish she would put out a book every 3 months! If you liked "Let Them Eat Cheesecake", you will fall MADLY inlove with this book, "A Second Slice" as well. It has inspired me to work harder and be more devoted to my own artwork. Hopefully it will inspirit you to do the same...

Summary: Simply the best
Review: Olivia de Berardinis is simply the best cheesecake artist there is , her work is to my mind better than Vargas, she paints in a range of materials and styles that delight the eyes. and for those of us who appreciate the female form this volume and it`s predecessor are must haves. Those people who criticize the content have a point, this much erotica isn`t going to be to everybody's taste, but the title tells you exactly what you are getting in to so don`t be too surprised. Royo more interesting than Olivia ? Luis is good but not this good.

Review: Olivia defintely proves her superior eye for the female form in this edition. In fact, I dare say she is the best artist in my generation for capturing the inoccent yet eroticaism of the female form. You will definitely be left wanting another slice of this pie.

Review: Olivia has definately outdone herself with this book. It contains a wider variety of images than what was in her first book. This one contains more fantastical images that truly spark the imagination. As usual, her work is done to an amazing level of realism. This is a perfect book for anyone who loves fantastical images and admires the human body as an art form.

Summary: A "must-have" art book.
Review: Originally influenced by Vargas and other "girlie" illustrators, Olivia surpasses them. She works in a number of different styles, and is more than happy to explain her techniques. What I enjoy the most about SECOND SLICE is when she talks about her models and how they inspire her. I was fortunate in meeting the artist briefly at a show in Los Angeles where she appeared with uber-Amazon Julie Strain; in person, Olivia is intense and beautiful. I would love to see a self-portrait. Buy this book and treat it well as the production quality is excellent.
