Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of the best Review: An exceptionally exquistite book that combines both colour and black and white on such beautifully glossy pages. Steve's images always have a habit of sticking in my brain, continually exciting me wherever I go and dream. Very stylish and intelligent and not the typical "in your face" imagery that everyone else seems to do. Like they say, he is a master of powerful yet subtle eroticism. Both of his books will stay on my shelves and in my mind for many years to come.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Skin Two Magazine Review Review: For a photographer who has built his reputation on creating distinctive black and white fetish imagery, a move into colour is not to be taken lightly. The arcane craft of the darkroom does not easily release its grip on the practitioner. And when the subject is fetishism, whose portrayal in the traditional medium is still so widely enjoyed, a shift into colour might seem to be even more of a shot in the dark. But in the new work of Steve Diet Goedde, created since he left (as he puts it) the monochromatic landscape of his native Chicago for the saturated colour of California, it is clear that the gamble has paid off. His ability to capture mood, personality, attitude and (importantly) humour in the fetish moment has not diminished. His knack for conjuring eroticism from a quirky pose, an unusual angle or a bold crop is as sharp as ever. In Goedde's work, colour has not obscured meaning - it has simply enhanced detail. His second book for Stemmle, The Beauty of Fetish Vol. 2, majors on Goedde's new full colour oeuvre. This big coffee table book includes no less than 140 colour and duotone plates, the latter demonstrating not only that Steve hasn't abandoned black and white but also just how well his old and new styles coexist....
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Beautifully stunning as always with this artist Review: I have been a fan of Mr. Goedde's work for sometime. I purchased this book almost as soon as it came out. I am a photographer, which can hope that one day I may be close to being as good as him. The work is inspiring and you never know what is coming out of those pages. He truly has an ability to capture the best in people and situations. I wish there were more photographers that were artistic as Steve is. Art is interpreted in many different ways, but a lot of times when I look at his work, even in this book, I feel like it is a dream. Some of the photographs to me are a dark dream. There is nothing bad or scary to the photographs, just a bit of darkness with a hint of light. I personally love it. Since, I too take a lot of pictures of people; I love the scenarios they are placed in for the shot. You can see the serious and the quirky side to him and it makes you feel that you are seeing him through is work, on a personal level. I think that this is a real collector item for anyone that is interested in photography that is more on the artistic side. I give this book 5 stars!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Highly erotic and stylish! Review: I was actually shocked at how this book is so much better than the first volume. This new collection of photographs proves that Mr. Goedde is the only true successor of Helmut Newton. What's especially refreshing is his new attention to color work. Even though the color work is stylistically different than his black and white work, it has an even higher intensity. This is fetish glamour at it's highest.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: the beauty of fetish: volume 2 Review: i've never seen anyone capture the eroticism of fetish-wear the way steve goedde does. if you already have the first beauty of fetish collection, you MUST buy volume 2. he has grown artistically. this is needed in your photography book collection. it's true! it's possible to create real art in los angeles. here's the proof.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Fine Art Photography and Contemplative Fetish Images Review: Mr. Goedde's second book is even more beautiful, artistic and fetishistically erotic than the first one... and that's saying something since I think the first one is dynamite! Volume 2 is a photographic chronicle, or collections of impressions, of the first few years of his move to the West. The color images are bolder and often stunningly forthright in its strength for a photographer known for documenting moments of quiet sensuality. But don't worry, his black and white images are even more of what makes Mr. Goedde's works so special. They seem to give the views a peek into private moments of contemplation and solitary fetish Eros. Many images come with his signature quirkiness that's so delightful as well. If you love images of charming and beautiful women in latex, high heels, leather and boots... and if you appreciate excellent fine art photography, this book is for you! As it was true with his first collection this beautifully bound oversized book is suitable for any coffee table....
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I Love This Book! Review: The Beauty of Fetish Vol.2 takes Fetish Photography to a new level. The photos have an intimate quality, but unlike allot of photographers Steve isn't afraid to show humor in his photographs as well as beauty. I love this book!
