Review: This book is great in its written and graphic information about what is in a good set of drawings. I use it to teach construction documents for residential construction, but it also explains isometrics and perspectives. It includes well drawn examples my students can look at as well as specific instructions and examples of what should be included on each drawing. It covers arch, stuctural, and site drawings for both a residential and light commercial. I use it for a AutoCad drafting class because it works so well as a guide for either hand or computer drafting. it explains the Drawing Conventions for line types, material harthes and detail cuts. it has isometric examples to show how sections are cut thru the building. And it isn't too big or expensive.
