Summary: More than just polar bears....
Review: This is a great book not only for photographs and information about polar bears but about the entire area in and around Churchill, Manitoba. While the initial focus is on the bears there are also sections on the other animial life on the arctic tundra, the variety of birdlife, and some amazing photos of the northern lights. There are also maps and charts explaining why the area is such a magnet for polar bears and other things. I recently returned from a visit to Churchill and this book is a wonderful keepsake of my trip.
