Review: True to her designing philosophy of finding beauty in simple and efficient patterns, her book is cut from the same cloth. Simple white cover with a small chinese character like figurine taking a bow draws you into the world of design with purpose and reason. Yeohlee lays out the foundation of her designing philosophy as it were an architectural project. She explains how each and every detail of her designs have purpose, and reason. The beautiful results, depicted by the crisp photos of her cloths through out her book, is almost like a by-product of the passion she has for the efficiency and purpose. You will see for yourself when you pick up the book of why I came to that conclusion. Even though the designs stand on their own in pleasing the eyes, the explanations behind those designs will make you appreciate those designs even more. If you have not had the pleasure of discovering Yeohlee's designs yet, this book would be a wonderful introduction to her world of design with purpose and reason. And to those who already appreciate her work, you will be treated to answers to your many many curiosities and questions about her designs. Happy reading. =)
