Summary: Wow, some good pictures on non-white women
Review: These are some pretty good pic's of non-white women. Some are cluttered by artsy special effects (blurred focus and extreme close ups for example - yuk), but most are plain, easy photos of black ladies. A good nude need only show a woman for her own beauty and need not get all sick-headed artsy and ruin itself with "effects"; these do the job quiet well. There's variety and as the others have said, these are REAL women - don't buy it expecting a barrage of bubble-breasted blond Playboy playmates with black shoepolish smeared on. Lots are aesthetically beautiful; others are beautiful because they are women and not afraid of it.

Summary: Great is an understatement
Review: This book features not only models (i.e. Beverly Johnson), but some ordinary women who are fat, skinny, short, and tall, and they are all beautiful. When they pose nude, most of the time it looks more natural than sexy, which goes to show that nakedness is a way of life and that everyone should be proud of their bodies, even the more big-boned women in the book. If you can't cop the book, at least read it once.

Review: This book is great. Known models and actresses are in this book but it also has regular women at ease with their bodies. Not the best I have seen but it was worth a look.

Review: THIS BOOK IS LONG OVERDUE. WE ARE ALWAYS SEEING IMAGES OF WHITE WOMEN BEAUTIFULLY PHOTOGRAPHED NUDE AND OTHERWISE. HATS OFF TO MARC FOR FEATURING A RANGE OF AMAZING BLACK AND ETHNIC WOMEN PHOTOGRAPHED SO TASTEFULLY. THE PHOTOS ARE JUST BREATHTAKING, AND THE FORWARD BY BETHANN IS SO RIGHT ON THE MONEY.IT REALLY MADE ME PROUD

Review: What grabbed my attention to this book was N'Damb's image...on the front cover.....saying to myself "Nah, N'Dambi is not bare in this book!"......opened the first page...... JUST BEAUTIFUL!! Not to direct some small mind towards a Hustler or Playboy type of book, there is nothing sleezy here but perverted minds can wonder. This is PURE ART WORK. Black Women, Mother Earth seen in it's most natural form. If any incentive for copping this....to my brothas reading............Dogg!....LISA RAYE!, ROSARIO DAWSON! and the very sexy, super chocolate ALEK WEK! oNe

Review: While not being a photographer I was totally blown away at this beautiful work. I shared this book with several friends and the response was 100%, that the work was indeed a pleasure to behold. Mr. Baptise's use of minimal light was breathtaking. I am ordering another book for one of my friends.

Review: Wow! This has become one of my favorite pieces of furniture in the Bachelor Pad. You got to pick this one up. It's a popular item amongst the fellas as well as my lady friends and will be sure to stimulate some interesting party talk for your next mixer. Personally speaking, I think that Neomie Lenoire takes the cake. And is that Stacey Dash?? Whoa. She deserves an 'honorable mention' along with Melido Prado (who is this diamond???). After thumbing through this work-of-art after like the 50th time, the small print finally caught my eye. Upon reading these personal dedications, Marc Baptiste's masterpiece took on an even more profound form. This is an amazing book. Tastefully done. This book is more than just black nudity and erotica, it definitely portrays the African American Woman in an incredible state of ART. BEAUTIFUL!!!
