Rating: Summary: Classical Exploration of the Female Form Review: Andreas demonstrates once again his affinity for the female form with interesting composition and dramatic lighting in exotic settings around the world.
Rating: Summary: What can I say? Review: I bought this book primarily because I am a big fan of Andreas. I bought his first book "Nudes" two years ago and I have not regreted it since. I constantly pick it up for the sensuality and the power that resonates in the pictures. That being said I am not that thrilled about "Women". The photography is nice, it is the poses I have a problem with. I don't have a problem with looking at (atheltic)nude women. In fact I derive a lot of inspiration from them. But these are usually the sort of women who have a sort of "regal" and "dignified" look to them. In short the model has to give off an aura that she is there for herself and not simply to titilate men. Which unfortunetly is what "Women" does. The photos for "Women" primarily consist of left over shots he did for Playboy and Max. So in short the photography basically fits into the realm of titilation. So while you may want to purchase this book for Andreas formidable photography. Keep in mind the subject mater.
Rating: Summary: The Finest of Fine Art Nudes Review: I have been a Fine Art Photographer for 35 years photographing mainly nudes. I am VERY opinionated in this arena. Most books of fashion models posing nude are little more than curiosities. People like to see famous/beautiful people nude in exotic locations and yes there is that here in "Woman". And while it may not fulfill the pretentious title, the photography is exceptional through out! I have not seen a book of this quality in years. Anyone interested in this area of Fine Art Photography has to purchase this book.
Rating: Summary: beauty Review: it was the cover photo that drew me to this book when i first saw it. the photo is sensual without being philistine, erotic without being raunchy. the rest of the book follows suite. bitesnich's startling, languid exploration of the female form makes this book a must have for all those who love beauty.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful Photography Review: There is no color. The B&W images are so good, they capture the true essence of beauty. Enhancing the female body by ten. This book made my wife (she is not impressed easily) stop and admire the quality of the photography and the beauty of the women.
