Summary: A Joe Coleman Catalogue Raissone - At Last
Review: A number of fine books on Joe Coleman's work exist, but none offer the scope, detail and production quality of "The Book of Joe." Joe's work has long merited a volume that not only reproduces nearly every painting he's produced, but offers readers highly-magnified details of the paintings. Even for those lucky enough to view his work firsthand (you pretty much have to know someone - the work is rarely exhibited publicly, and still more rarely can you see more than one painting at a time), these details elude the naked eye.

In addition to previously unpublished work, The Book of Joe is also a tour through the painter's life, loves, friends, performances and, of course, the infamous Odditorium.

This is an important book about an important painter. And it's as deep into Joe Coleman's mind as anyone's likely to get.
