Summary: Beautifully written
Review: Mauricio's handbook is both a great starter book for those looking to get into the tango scene, and a great refresher for those who have had some tango classes. It introduces the basic steps that you will need to know in order to get any further in this line of dance. The instructions are very easy to understand and the pictures are very helpful. If you would like to learn some of the moves (and feel comfortable doing them) before you take a class with a live instructor, this book is what you need.

Summary: Tango for analytical minds
Review: My boyfriend who is a computer programmer has been struggling with tango and refusing to dance with me. I bought him a copy of this book to try to encourage him. He read the section on ochos and said "Aha! It says here you can do it in parallel or cross systems" then all of a sudden he knew how it all works. I still prefer to learn kinestheticly by taking lessons, but for his analytical mind this approach worked like a charm.

Summary: Amazing
Review: The inconsistency of this book is amazing. It opposes any serious book written about the Argentine tango that I have encounter. I have found that in the introduction tango is presented as a free dance, and after that it comes chapter after chapter with non sense phrases.

Summary: Incoherent
Review: This book is incoherent and full of disjointed ideas or thoughts. The structure of the dance is possibly what the author is trying to convey, but the concepts are vague and not referenced at all.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It is just what I have been looking for.
Review: This book is just about all you could ask for as a beginning or adnace dancer. It has dialogue with footsteps for both man and women, pictures of man and woman in progressive stages.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Key to it's Secrets Revealed
Review: This is the most appropiate subtitle for this book. Because, after a read it, the dance seem so much simple.
