Summary: What is missing
Review: Good book, but something is missing here. I beleive that the structures defined by the author are in need of a fourth dimension, which exists in the form of the concept of multiple instances of its own 3-dimensional plane. But this is rather a mental concept, which the author does not envision here. Maybe in the next volume.

Summary: Tango, The Structure of the Dance
Review: Great! Tango, The Structure of the Dance, not only gives the advance dancer an excellent understanding of the basics of Tango, but also provides some beginner technical background. Mr. Castro's explanation and presentation of all styles of Tango, is very thorough and detailed.

Summary: Great book !
Review: I am so glad that I found this book. This is the most sensual dance in the world, and it needed some technical book to compliment it.

Summary: Puzzled
Review: I had 3 years of serious tango experience when I ordered this book. At first I was puzzled and didn't understand what mr. Castro was telling that I not allready knew. I thought the diagrams were funny and confusing. Then I saw mr. Castro teach and walk and vary on the 'basico' and walk and walk... and everything became clear to me. It gave me a complete new outlook on what I had learned and what I still want to learn. The book is not only a good help in learning the first steps, it is especially a good help to lift you up to a higher level, where variation and improvisation are more important than the movements. I understand a CD-Rom is in the making, I can't wait!
