Review: Hey Readers! Let me first say that I'm excited to be here on Amazon.com! It's been fun purchasing books and other items, and now seeing my own work displayed on the site is equally rewarding! That said, I thank you for your interest in my book and highly urge you to pick up a copy if you have the slightest interest of diving into an entertainment career. Although the title suggests storyboards, the overall objective, and the primary reason I wrote the book, is to give you, the readers, the necessary tools for ultimately succeeding in Hollywood! Showbiz, as you may know, is an extremely competitive industry. Unless your last name is Spelling or your aunt is an award-winning actress, you're going to need every insider tip and advantage you can get to beat competition and rise to the top. Think of this book as a very INexpensive way of obtaining an inside connection, a personal mentor, and a true survival guide! To all those inspiring artists out there who are hesistant of where to begin, my step-by-step instruction and professional storyboarding know how, will provide you with the essentials to start drawing immediately! Before you realize it, you'll be scheduling those interviews and illustrating for block-buster movies! I would love to write more, but I'm off to South Africa to produce a documentary on great white sharks! If I return in one piece, I'll be more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Review: I am a student studying film, and I hope to be a storyboard artist after college. Recently, an art director friend of mine told me to pick up a copy of Storyboarding 101. This book is incredible! I've learned so much about the visual storytelling process that I'm anxious for summer to end so I can begin working on my next student project. Great book, Mr. Fraioli, and thanks for the sound advice! Keep up the good work!

Summary: Not Very Useful
Review: I bought this book expecting a how-to, instructional guide. There's none of that! No tips on drawing or the art of storyboarding. Instead, we get a autobiography of Fraioli and tips on breaking in: "hang around movie sets." Wow. I never would have figured that out on my own. The few examples of art Fraioli gives are amatuer and poorly drawn. I didn't find this book useful at all.

He lets you know what you have to be able to do when you are a storyboard artist and who to contact for work and how. Storyboarding 101 inspired me to get my samples together and send them to Hollywood.
