Summary: I See My Dog Reflected in Rachael Hale's Wonderful Book
Review: -If you're a dog lover, then you know our little secret: we talk to our dogs in a special language, and they talk to us. Many times our special dog language is phonetically different than our regular language: some would call it a version of "baby talk". But we know it's "dog talk". For me, my special dog language turns the "s" into a "th". My dog, Bruford, knows I'm talking to her when she hears this. So, here I am, in the public library mens room, sitting in the stall, looking through 101 SALIVATIONS before checking out.... And the pictures are so pure and perfect - they capture the soul of the dog so wonderfully - that I unconsciously started talking to the dogs in the photos in my dog language! Fortunately, there was no one else in the room.... A dog has one goal in its life - to love you. That's it. This marvelous book captures that love and draws you even closer to your own special friend. -

Summary: Work of Art!
Review: I absolutely love this book. The photos are extraordinary and the book's setup is really nice. For the price, I was expecting a flimsy paperback but it's hardcover and heavy like a true photography book.
I especially love how, at the end of the book, there's some info about each of the dogs in the book. You can tell that the author really cared about the dogs and was really creative in getting her shots.

Summary: A photog and a dog lover and I LOVE THIS BOOK!
Review: I am a professional photographer and I am a confessed dog lover. Even if I wasn't a dog lover I have to admit this book is full of great imagery. As photography goes, the less is more rule applies and allows you to see the portraits for what they are: portraits of some great personalities. If you or someone you know or love are a dog lover, then get this book!

Review: This book is adorable! Any Dog lover would love the beautiful photography of Rachael Hale. She is wonderful! The photographs are so creative and she truly captures each different breed's personalities so well! I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who loves dogs!
