Summary: Carson's design at its best
Review: A vital piece of literature for anyone working in design. No matter what field. Excellent

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: am i missing something?
Review: After reading all these 5 star reviews i wondered whether i read the same book. Although this isn't a reading book at all. Maybe it's more suited to typographers or font design, but i found it to be page after page of much the same stuff. Don't get me wrong, i think he has a unique and dramatic design style, but after a few pages it all gets a bit boring. If you're looking for inspiration for graphic or web design, look somewhere else.

Summary: not worth it !!
Review: As a graphic designer I think this book doesn't add anything in this field. I read lots of reviews about this book and they all said that it is magnificent that's why I bought it, but it is really a waste of money and time. The book and the images in the book will just tell you that David Carson is different and he has an odd taste in the typography nothing more or less.
I didn't get any inspiration or any benefits form the ideas in this book. My honest advice to you, if you are thinking of buying "End of Print" don't do it, instead buy anthoner typography or graphic art books which is going to be much more useful than this one

Summary: A Great Resource for Typography and Design
Review: Completely creative, cutting edge, and visually stimulating. David Carson's look at typography is a real eye opener to new and extreme avenues that this design element can bring. It's a fabulous resource, full of wonderful photography and great ideas. It's a great tool for designers and students alike. Very helpful and well worth the money.

Summary: Forget about the Bauhaus
Review: David Carson is the only original designer since the Bauhaus. His work breaks the mold of the ever increasingly boring grids. Enough can't be said for his contributions to print, type, and web design. He is in a class by himself. Yes, there alot of wannabes now. But it all started with Carson. It is seldom that there is a true original, especially in the tight laced world of graphics. He is the singular, groundbreaking designer that changed the face of things.

Summary: A MUST HAVE REFERENCE!
Review: I cant tell you how many times I return to this book for idea generation. "Dirty" design at its best. This book is better than the sequel but both are worth the investment.
