Ansel Adams at 100

Summary: Excellent finishing, photo quality could be better.
Review: While the book itself has been "manufactured" to very high standards, i.e., binding, paper, etc, the prints could have been of better quality.

After reading AA's superb 3-book series (The Camera, the negative and the print), and purchasing his calendars, I'd expected prints as good or better than the ones found in these books. Unfortunately, many of the prints in "AA at 100" could have been printed better. Some of them have poor contrast, and some have poor shadow detail.

Still, there are many great prints and I'm not too unhappy. Yet, if AA had been alive, he'd have made the publisher redo most of the prints.

Review: WOW! What more is there to say? Plenty. This book is a have to have for any lover of the art of Black and White photography. Excellent, A+, 5 star and ten out of ten! Buy this book you will not be disappointed..
