Summary: A bit annoying for hard core fans
Review: I watch this show over and over again. So I like the book but was surprised by how many mistakes there are in it. Ones a hard core fan like myself can easily point out. SJP's interviews also show that she is definatly the "Tori Spelling" of this show by many of the comments she makes. Not everyone cares about the character of Carrie and how everything relates to her. More information and comments from the other ladies would have been better. For the new book coming out with Season 6 in it, I suggest more accuracy and less SJP and her self-involved interviews.

Review: My Boyfriend bought me this Book for Crimbo because he knew what a nut I am about SATC. It is absolutely great for everyone who loves the series and the characters. Fab to flip through and drool over all that fashion and fun!

Review: My hubby got this book for me for our first anniversary (paper... ;>), and I couldn't put it down! It has gorgeous pictures, including captions telling you the designers of some of the ladies' outfits (not that I could afford any of them, but a gal can dream!)It profiles all the actors--even the guys! All episodes from the first 4 seasons are described in detail, with pictures and memorable quotes from the episodes as well as from the actors and behind-the-scenes people. I also loved hearing about the writers and how they draw from their own lives. This book couldn't be better!!!

Summary: What Sex and The City fan WOULDN'T find this book fab?
Review: My roommate brought this book home and although I myself had been skeptical to purchase it, I'm glad she did because it's so fabulous, I'm thinking about getting one for my own collection.First of all, if you're a big fan of this hit HBO series, then you'll absolutely love this book. Each of the 4 female characters on the show are spoken about in detail by their counterparts (Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis). In addition to that, the actresses themselves have their own little bio as well as how they became involved in the show in the beginning. In addition to the girls themselves, there's detailed pages on each characters' style (from wardrobe to home furnishings to the men they choose). So as not to leave any SATC fanatic unfulfilled, they've even got sections devoted to the SATC men (Mr. Big, Aidan, Steve, Trey, etc.) and the actors bios that play them on the series. Overall, the book is filled with brilliant, four-color photographs and designed with style (that reflects the show itself, nonetheless). A great stocking-stuffer for girlfriends (especially if they're an avid watcher).

Summary: A little misleading...
Review: So I'm a huge SATC fan. My roommate watch a different season every weekend. I was bound to buy the book.
Being the huge fan of SATC that I am I soon came to realize that the book has quite a few inaccuracies that I've found.
First off it claims to be updated to cover the Sixth Season. This isn't so. It goes through the first HALF of the Sixth Season. So it doesn't cover Season 6 Part 2 episodes. The closest that it gets is vaguely alluding to the fact that Charlotte will adopt a baby.
Secondly, in the "who they slept with" section it says that Carrie didn't sleep with a guy in the first episode who she definitely did if you watch the episode.
These were errors that I discovered within 15 minutes of receiving the book from Amazon, I'm sure there are more. All in all the book has a lot of interesting articles, interviews and information... but with some blatant flaws and errors that I hope will be corrected in the next edition.

Review: This book could be the absolute worst piece of garbage I have ever seen in my life. I was so angry after reading this, that I flipped my car into a river. Well, actually that had nothing to do with the book, I was just drunk. But still, this book makes The Rock's biography look like War & peace.

Summary: Perfect Companion to the Series
Review: This book is a perfect companion to the fantastic HBO series. It's well designed and written, colorful, and a great deal of fun. So much information is here, from the genesis of the project down to the design of the sets and the costumes. Every possible angle of this show is touched upon and then some! It's fantastic for fans of the series or even for fans of television production in general. Many of the stories and anecdotes told by the cast and crew are almost as funny as the show itself! It's so interesting to read the skittishness of some actors or the little bits and scenes that got cut our because HBO thought they were "too much!" I highly recommend this book if you've seen every episode and flat out love the show!

Review: This book is a real gem! It's packed with tons of photographs and inside information about the series. There are interviews with all of the cast that are interspersed throughout the book. There are wonderful photographs of the fashions, the locations, and of the cast. HBO and the cast thoroughly endorsed this book and it shows. Every episode of the past four seasons is discussed and all the tidbits of information are there. What a delight for the fan of this show. And the beautiful pink cover of the book is just to die for. This book is lots of fun that you'll be pouring over for hours and hours.
