Summary: An incredible project with excellent results!
Review: I am a beginning photojournalist fortunate enough to have a thumbnail photo in this book. I am amazed at the final result. I thought the book might come out a little on the PR side, but looking at it, I don't get that vibe at all. I think it is a beautiful book and I am proud to have my name in it. I do think it could use more edge but I think the results are excellent.

Review: I am shocked about the prior review in regard to not recommending this book or custom cover. We bought one for ourselves and two for gifts. The books arrived right at two weeks and I had to contact (by e-mail) the company and they promptly responded. The cover of our chidren turned out fabulous and the pictures in the book are fantastic. Everyone one that has seen our book is in awe. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: Great Gift Idea, Great Custom Cover
Review: I bought this book as a gift after hearing about it on NPR. The custom cover looked fantastic. I'm not sure what happened with those customers who gave this a 1 star. My experience with the custom cover process and the service was extremely smooth. They told me it would take 3 weeks but I received it in 5 days. THERE'S NO BETTER GIFT FOR A SOMEONE INTERESTED IN PHOTOGRAPHY. GET READY FOR BIG HUGS AT THE UNWRAPPING!

Review: I bought this for my girlfriend whose husband is deoloyed in Iraq. She got the book first and the cover followed a few weeks later. She loved it and I had NO Problems with the cover order. I did order in Jan after the holiday rush. Suggest everyone who has had a problem, give them a second chance. They are doing a great job for only $5.00.

Summary: HIGH Quality - lush book
Review: I just read the review below - and I must disagree. I just bought a copy of AMERICA 24/7 after seeing the book on OPRAH WINFREY - and I think it is just MAGNIFICENT!! however - I was EXTREMELY saddened with the quality of the National Geographic THROUGH THE LENS book - terrible reproduction! I've collected photo books for years (I even have "A day in the Life of America" the pre-quel to this) - and I think AMERICA 24/7 is top notch...I recommend.

Review: I just recieved a custom cover in exactly 20 days. Looks great and the book itself is a nice piece. Only problem is that I ordered 4 customs covers using the same photo/layout. Apperantly that little box for Quantity doesn't do much other that charge more for a single cover. I've looked all over there site and can find nothing as a contact. No email address, no phone number and the return address is a PO Box in CA. So, before I refuse the charge does anyone have contact info for this shady operation? It sounds as though some have been down this road before.

The book itself was a perfect visualization of America and the Custom Cover was a wonderful bonus offer. Where else can you get the chance to put your own image on a New York Times best seller?! I've read some reviews complaining about Custom Covers and I have to say that in my case and with most of my friends who have ordered, everything went smoothly -- their site was easy to use, customer service was prompt and helpful, shipment was on time and the cover print was excellent. I'd give them another try...I know I'll be ordering more Custom Covers.
