Description:
Tracy Byrd's coppery baritone is a pleasure to hear, even on such lightweight material as "Holdin' Heaven," represented on this disc via a disposable music video about a fabulous babe who catches Byrd's eye during a concert. "Lifestyles of the Not So Rich and Famous," a clever song about embracing redneck culture, is freely adapted into another tossed-off video, while "Watermelon Crawl," a story about an outdoor festival, the law, hootch, and copping the perfect attitude makes a far more entertaining visual production. "Why Don't That Telephone Ring" captures the essence of Byrd's sad ballad, while "The Keeper of the Stars" is a very nice video about the link between earthbound and heavenly love. --Tom Keogh
