Summary: Idiotic and childish TRASH
Review: The fact that adults watch this mindless rubbish speaks volumes about the mental sanity of people in society. Seriously, this show is not funny, not clever and has no redeeming features whatsover. It's full of stupid gags and occasional violence/nudity. Completely and utterly dumb. Only watch it if you have an empty skull or can't count past ten.

Summary: My favorite season of The Simpsons
Review: I have been a loyal fan of The Simpsons since the first season, and in my opinion it is one of the greatest shows ever created. When it comes to the truly classic seasons of the show (seasons 3-8), it is very hard to pick a favorite season. The excellent writing and constant laughs that these years brought us makes each one of those seasons fantastic. However, the reason that I feel that season three is the best season of the show, is because it features the most consistency in terms of the laughs that it brings and the amount of good episodes there are in the season. If I were to make up a list of my ten favorite episodes, at least four of them would come from season three.

A few episodes worth mentioning are "Flaming Moes" in which Homer creates the perfect drink, and Moe steals the idea and uses it to become rich and famous; "Bart the Murderer" in which Springfield gangster Fat Tony takes Bart under his wing and makes him a bartender; "Radio Bart" in which Bart drops a radio down a well and pretends to be "Timmy O'Toole," a boy who fell in and became trapped; "Black Widower" in which Sideshow Bob is parolled from prison and becomes engaged to Bart's aunt Selma in an attempt to kill Bart; "Bart the Lover" in which Bart discovers that his teacher Miss Krabappel has placed a personal add, and creates a fictional character for her to fall in love with; and my all time favorite episode "Homer at the Bat" in which Homer creates a bat made out of the wood from a tree that was struck by lightning and he uses it to take the nuclear plant's softball team to the league championships. Several major leaguers guest star such as Jose Cansecco, Roger Clemens, Ken Griffey Jr., Daryl Strawberry, and more.

Overall, the third season of The Simpsons is the best season they ever had in my opinion. It started the trend of truly great seasons that would go from seasons 3-8. Season three is definately a must own for fans of the show because it features some of the best episodes and supplies constant laughs throughout. The thing that impressed me the most about this set besides the episodes themselves, was the fact that there was commentary on every episode.

A solid 5/5...

Summary: Awesome product for The Simpsons fans
Review: From the 4 seasons now released, this is one of my favorites. This season includes some extras, featuring Butterfinger TV commercials. This season includes one of the most hilarious ephisodes from The Simpsons. The DVD menu is well organized and is easy to select extra features from it. Different from the other seasons now released, this one includes some audio options for foreign languages. Since I am not a native English speaker I have enjoyed the Spanish audio option. It includes the original translation from Mexican version.
