Summary: In case you missed it the first few times...
Review: To reiterate: They ARE releasing Special Editions of ALL of these movies, one by one, over the next several months. Do NOT waste your money on this overpriced, underfeatured box set.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: No!
Review: Well, truly, if you aren't interested in special features and commentaries and stuff, and just want the movies, go ahead and get this baby. Good price for a good set.

But come on - what's the sense of releasing a set of movies in a box, with two of them director's cuts, and the rest not? Either make the whole set director's cuts (which I'm sure Paramount will do once all nine {or by then ten} movies are 'special-featured') or make it a set of plain vanilla versions and at a reduced price.

Summary: Not enough TV in your life eh!!
Review: Who in the world cares about "Bonus Material", Before DVD there was TAPE, & it was a rare thing to find Bonus Material on TAPEs, & now more, & more people are complaining about how there is no Bonus Materials on these DVD's,

They were all released in 1998, When DVD's were new, They just haven't bothered reissuing them lately, No one complained about THE MOTION PICTURE, it was released in 2001, No one complained that it was not out on DVD at all,

A Directors Edition of WRATH OF KHAN will be released in August, with Alot of Bonus Material,

Disc 1, is a Superbit DVD, With all Deleted scenes blended in,
Disc 2, will probly be another DOUBLE Layer Disc,

Unfortunatly, Disc 2 on THE MOTION PICTURE was a Single Layer disc

But you can still buy the original version of WRATH OF KHAN, on DVD, incase you don't like Disc 1 of The Directors Edition,

All the DVD's in this set are awesome, Even if there in no Bonus Features, I don't think that matters, All the people who complain about no Bonus Material, apparently don't get enough TV in there life,
The Picture clarity is Exellent, But WRATH OF KHAN is gonna be released on a Superbit DVD in August, Which means the picture will be TWICE as good as the original DVD,
If all you complainers just be patient, All Movies will eventually be released in D.E. format, It's because of YOU these Special Edition DVD's are being released, They were just fine, But then YOU started complaining, There is nothing wrong with a DVD with no special features,
