Summary: Bargain-priced Three Stooges gems!
Review: This dvd has four fun Three Stooges "shorts":
"Malice in the Palace" has the three boys owning a cheap cafe (Cafe Casbah) where stray cats and dogs are possible ingredients in each meal! They are then hired to find a missing diamond stolen from the king Rutin-Tutin's tomb by the evil Omigosh, Emir of Schmooland. Doesn't that sound just like a Mystery science Theater 3000 episode!?!

"Sing a Song of Six Pants" has our band of idiots owning a laundry business, with mixed results. When the Skin-N-Flint Company demands payments from the Stooges on past due notes, the Stooges decide to look for an infamous burglar so they can collect the reward money.

"Disorder in the Court" is my personal favorite on this disk. the Stooges play key witnesses in a strange murder case that involves a parrot and a beautiful young dancer! The dancer, Gale Tempest (played by Suzanne Kaaren) has been accused of the crime, and the Stooges must make a convincing testimony in order to save her from the noose! Eventually chaos erupts and the judge learns never to allow the Three Stooges in a courtroom!

"Brideless Groom" has Shemp about to inherit $500,000 from his recently deceased uncle. The problem is that in order to collect it, he must be married. With only seven hours left before the deadline, the Stooges desperately try to find a woman who will marry Shemp. When word gets out about the inheritance, the women come looking for Shemp, with dollar signs in their eyes!

This is a very inexpensive way to have a nice "starter kit" collection of the Three Stooges' short films. The picture and sound quality is adequate considering the age, and the total running time is a little over an hour. This dvd is highly recommended for fans of comedy that involves poking, slapping, gouging, and plenty of pies in the face!
