Summary: Wonderful show but I didn't get a DVD booklet either
Review: Gilmore Girls is the perfect show for everyone to watch: clever characters and storylines, along with very high-quality acting. The relationship between Rory and Lorelai is inspiring and the show has a real fairy tale-like charm to it! It makes me feel great whenever I watch it. The kooky characters are so true to small town life.
This is another response to the booklet question. I think there was a problem with the DVD sets sent into Canada. I have been in internet forums and at least four other people from Canada did not get a booklet. I am still trying to contact Warner Home Video but no one wants to deal with our problem; they just keep on telling me to try phoning another number or to e-mail another address. This is not fair- we are getting ripped off. If anyone in Canada does have a DVD booklet, where did you purchase it? I just exchanged my copy that didn't have a booklet only to find out that my new set didn't have one either. This is very frustrating. Anyone with information would really help.
Anyway, it's still one of the best shows on television and every fan should own the DVD boxed set. To anyone wondering if they should buy it- DO IT!! You will definitely not regret it.

Summary: Booklet with DVD?
Review: I received my Gilmore Girls in the mail on the day it came out. Hooray! Question, is there supposed to be a small booklet in the packaging? At the front of the boxet there is a small envelope/folder area that would typically hold a booklet, but mine was empty. Just curious if anyone out there has anything different? Other than that, I am especially excited to get my DVD set. With Smallville and Dawson's Creek and other WB shows on DVD, the Gilmore Girls seemed like a long time coming. Now how long do we have to wait for the second season???

Summary: This is great!!!
Review: Gilmore Girls has an amazing storyline, about a mother and daughter relationship in a small town. Gilmore Girls shows real life and everything else. The hardships for Lorali(Graham)being a singe parent and having two parents who almost think of her as dirt. This story will touch all mothers and daughters out there!!!

Summary: Gilmore Girls defies boundaries, description
Review: A written description of Gilmore Girls can do the series no justice. The rapid-fire writing is some of the sharpest on television, the plots are rarely, if never, cliche and the large stable of characters never fails to make you laugh. It's rare for a show to strike a perfect balance between comedy and drama with no sappiness attached, but Gilmore Girls succeeds and truly breaks new ground. It's about time this series made it to DVD; it's hard to find better programming on any network.

Summary: Best Show on TV
Review: I started watching Gilmore Girls when it first came on and I think it is one of the best shows on tv. I would tell any one who likes comedy with a bit of drama to watch. You are always on the edge of your set wanting to know what happens next.

Summary: Awesome Show...
Review: Gilmore Girls is an awesome show, the more I see it the more I like it... I watch it on mornings, afternoons and sometimes later nights... (cable channel schedules it at least twice a day)

They make of Stars Hollow a place I would love to live in... Lorelai and Rory are great!!; they can be so funny when talking 1000 words per minute.

Can't wait to have the First Season in my hands!!!!

Summary: This is long overdue
Review: Gilmore Girls is one of the best shows on television, and it's DVD release is long overdue. The show is well written, well acted, and it takes a matter of seconds before you're engrossed in the story line. The show has been exceptional since the pilot, and has continued to please. The first season introduces us to Stars Hollow, Chilton, and Hartford. We meet the kooky residents of the Gilmore's hometown, the spoiled Chiltonites, and Richard and Emily Gilmore, Lorelai's parents who could be her polar opposites. Many of these characters are still important today. Sookie, Luke, Paris, Miss Patty, etc... Plus, we meet Tristan DuGrey. What more could a girl ask for?

Summary: Great Gilmore Girls
Review: The Gilmore Girls is a rare find in a TV world filled with mindless teen shows. It is witty and sarcastic, yet touching and absorbing. A true television gem. This DVD is as long awaited treasure.

Summary: I wanna live in star's hollow!
Review: My Saturday nights at the moment consists of getting pizza delivered and watching the Gilmore Girls. I kid you not!! My wife and I love this show, heck we are even sending our daughter to a private school when she grows up so she can end up like Rory! (I know, it won't happen). What a great kid she is, a brilliant role model for teenagers today, and what a great relationship she has with her mother.

It's great to see a wholesome show like this one on at the moment. And it's very entertaining as well. The script is razor sharp.

How these girls eat so much and stay so slim I'll never understand though!! Cmon, sing it with me, "If your out on the road, feeling lonely and so cold, all you have to do is call my name and I'll be there on the next train....."
