Summary: The Creek Finally Ran Dry
Review: I have not seen the extended cut of this horrible program, but I can't imagine sitting through one more manipulative minute. This show was about as bad as it could have been. Basically, Dawson's Creek ran dry after about the second season, but I stuck around...And it has finally ended. I would have given this terrible piece of trash no stars but for the merciful quality of it ending the series. They should have killed of the whole miserable bunch of them--that would have been interesting!

Summary: HA!!! I KNEW PACEY'S BRO WAS GAY!!!
Review: I liked the finale. Joey and Pacey ending up together was a nice touch. The death (was sad)...cause the lead-up made me tear up. BUT...I'm a man...it was just a little tear or two. Anyway, good job to the directors, producers, actors, etc. I really didn't like the last season too much, but they pulled me in towards the end. Very nice.

Summary: Waited Six Seasons For This!!
Review: Well...the kids of Dawson's Creek did grow up without completely growing apart..but this was not the ending I wanted nor expected! I also watched from the beginning and have every episode taped and although I do have all the memories I am very sad and disappointed with the ending. Joey should have ended up with Dawson..no doubt about it! They were soulmates and understood each other better than anybody else did. This was one of the saddest moments for me besides when Mitch got killed in a car accident. I wanted them to be together so bad. I grew up with the show and I still slip my tapes in the VCR and watch them. It's weird for me to sit and watch the first couple of seasons when Joey and Pacey completely hated each other and know that their going to end up together! I would have never guessed that..I always believed that Dawson and Joey were going to fall in love and be together. Even though the show has ended..I still love it and I am a die hard fan and always will be. Even though Joey ended up with Pacey..I can't just hate the show because of one(very important) episode. I have too many memories and good things to say about it to do that! I just wish that it would have ended differently.

Summary: Buy it!
Review: I want to say a lot of things about the show and the finale but I don't know how to wrtie many because I'm spanish. Only say that it's absolutely perfect; I was crying all the time while I saw the series finale, it was so sad, happy and romantic...and I can't wait to see the cuts. So if you have the opportunity buy the dvd. I cant't buy it becuase it's only for USA and Canada, but I will buy it if some day it's sold in Europe. Dawson's Creek forever...the best series

Summary: everything good, must come to an end
Review: Seeing the ending of one of my favourites shows was one of the greatest and saddest expieriences yet, not only because i had grown up with the show, but also ebcause there wont be anymore dawsons nights (tho there will be dawsons syndications mornings), and i just have to say it was rgeat, having Kevin Williamson right what was wrong, dont get me wrong, stupin did a good job (as in joey and pacey been some of the most romantics things in the show), but i think most of as at some point didnt really like dawson..
most people believe that by th fact that the show's called dawsons'creek, dawson and joey should have eneded together( mind you i do think joey had way too much camera time)but i think that the show is actually about dawson growing up, living and not living his dreams , and in reality people dont always get what they wanted
i believe joey picking pacey was the best desition and really after a bit of thinking it seems as been with joey was second prize, dawson got so much more, he became a film maker, and he got to be joeys soulmate, who can beat that, im not saying hes better than pacey, but the sole fact of knowing that they both had this special bond that no-one will be able to brek is better than anything, he also understood that he couldnt stop his bests friends from been happy and we all know hell be there for them.. as i read somewhere else.. dawson could live without been joey lover but pacey couldnt, he needed her and she needed him, even though he let her off the hook, he was still playing around and he hadnt forgot her, and she loved him so much, he wasnt her sophmore love, it wasnt overanalyzed, or precticed, it was real, there were no big words, or quick references, it was jsut real. But to tell you the truth, seeing the other episodes (2nd season) i would have loved pacey enidng up with andy, more than with joey and that would have made it all easier, she actually saved him, as well as he saved her, i believed they are true soulmates, so if they show her on the dvd would be magnific, it really was a stupid thing to take her out of the show, as it would have been stuoid to make her end up with pacey after all, they made a mistake, they made pacey/joey and you just cant rewind that pretending it didnt happen was lying pacey and joey are now right as well as pacey and andie were at their time, if paul stupin had just...
the highlight of the show was jen, though i already knew about her dying i had to cry, hearing jack tell her she was his soulmate was the most beautifull thing ever, because they were, they were meant for each other 9as in friends0 they ahd so much passion without sex or lust, they just let themselves live, and they couldnt love eachother more, and thinking aboout what jack might have felt just ripped my heart, and he did what he had to do he let her dye in peace by taking care of her daughter aand she knew he would love amy as much as he loves her, the video for her daughter was just beautiful , seeing her tell amy to believe in god couldnt be compared to anything, this girl who had once told her grandmother she didnt believe in god and trying everything not to attend to church even after her gramps death, this was the example of how they had grown up... i dont know which part was better the soulmate thing or after her death when grams told her shell see her soon, how muhc had changed, this woman couldnt even say "penis", but she loved her more tahn her life, and she grew to love her friends, i think javk was like another grandson. pacey also did what he had to do, he made her happy, he showed her, that she didnt need to worry for them, and was there for her, tried to make her happy, even though inside he was ripping apart, and dawson.. oh my ickle little dawson, he's always loved her, he put her in some sort of pedestal and i dont think she was ever out of it even after joey, he just owed her so much. jack and doug , at first i didnt understand but it was good, he had to settle down and after leaving his boyfriend for beer (bad choice stupin) it was right, which leads to the high;lights

*alexander climbing to lilys window just made me smile
*deuty doug saying he was just kissing his boyfriend
*sammy and cory was it?
*jen walking out of the cab (it sort of made me happy but also cry)
*he's meeting spielberg!!!!!
in the end, they did grow up, it wwas the end, dawson didnt think of pacey as low as he did first, paceyput other people before himself, , joey had her love, and her soulmate and she finally understood what she wanted without feeling guilty, jen grew up of her prejudices, she understood god, and wanted to be a good mum, and be there for her daughter (not sending her away to the grandmother), jackstopped been afrid of his sexuality and had a serious relationship, grams could say "penis"lol and respect others, gale recovered her marriage, and though mitch ( i really hatd him) is dead, she was finally at peace, and bessy was just so beautiful, youy'll just get to hear "i dont wanna wait"once again, and compare the years when your world woud end because of your best friends getting together and now, when you are actually a grown up... now all i would have wanted was andie, she was the best

Summary: A little corny, but mostly perfect.
Review: For the six seasons that Creek ran on the WB, I was a faithful viewer. I've watched the show (which was oddly enough entiltled Dawson's Creek, and not Joey's Creek, go figure) travel through many different relationships of the core characters. For awhile, I was one of the fanatic people who wanted Joey and Dawson together, until I realized that Joey and Dawson were only perfect for each other when they were 15 years old. How many of us can say that we wish we were still with the same person we were at 15? Joey grew up, and Pacey gave her what she needed, end of story. Personally, I would have chosen to keep Eddie (season 6) as Joey's lifetime love. He was so much different than Pacey and Dawson in such a good way for her. But I realize that you have to stick with what's expected sometimes. As for the rest of the storyline (as if anyone was really paying that much attention to it anyways!), I love Jack's chosen profession, as well as deputy Doug's sudden self-awareness. And while I was sad to see Jen go, she went out with style. The annoying, corny parts of the episode were the parallel storylines in Dawson's television show. Gag me. Kevin Williamson should have thought a little more about the comical aspects of the episode instead of treating us like a bunch of morons who wouldn't know subtlety if it bit us in the [rear].

Summary: WORST ENDING EVER
Review: Joey should have ended up with Dawson, not Pacey.

Joey and Dawson's relationship was the through line of the entire show. By having Joey ending up with Pacey, it discredits the first couple of seasons... it makes the entire series... pointless.

I bought the first season on DVD but when I saw the season finale, I took it back to the store. I can't watch the show anymore... which is so disappointing, because it was SO GOOD up until the last episode.

I was hoping ther would be an alternate ending where Joey ended up with Dawson, but there isn't.... very, very disappointing. Note to Kevin Williamson: YOU HAVE TO SATISFY THE AUDIENCE IN THE END. YOU DID NOT.

Summary: Not the finale I hoped for but...
Review: Ok ok ok, the ending to this was NOT what I was expecting nor what I wanted! I waited 6 years for Joey to finally wisen up and let herself be in love with Dawson, and the ending botched it. I loved Kevin Williamson in the beginning, seasons 1 and 2, and I just can't understand where this finale came from. Joey talking about "running away" from Pacey? When did she ever?!? Or Joey saying her and Pacey's timing was always off? When was it ever?!? The 5th and 6th seasons were atrociously written (Joey and Dawson's one night stand? That never should've happened.) and the hope was that finally! this finale would right what has been wrong with Dawson's since the end of Season 2.

The thing is, the writer's really never gave Dawson and Joey their shot at being a couple. Pacey even said it at the beginning of season 5 and everyone said it at the beginning of season 6. Every year they taunted us with the hope of a Dawson and Joey reunion, and then tore it away. This finale could have fixed the entire story arch in one fell swoop, two weddings, both real (and wouldn't you know, of course they put the Dawson/Joey wedding in the previews to tease us).

However, aside from the obvious downfalls in the writing and eventual storyline outcome, I must say that this is a very good episode. I downloaded the finale after it aired, and I still cry everytime I hear Jen's speech. Michelle Williams has really come unto her own. Jen used to really annoy me, but she's become a character that I love. I wish there had been more of a romantic finale for her, but I guess it was too much to ask for since there wasn't even a romantic finale for Dawson, the lead! Jack and Deputy Doug are so adorable, although quite strange I'll admit since Doug has so vehemently denied his homosexuality all these seasons. I can't wait to see the Andie McPhee scenes. I always thought she and one Mr. Pacey Witter made the best match for him, and I was sad that they threw her out of the relationship in one fell swoop in season 3. I think the perfect ending would've probably been the "clique" they were all so afraid of being in Season 2: Dawson and Joey, Pacey and Andie, and Jack and Jen, except Jack would be straight of course. So I guess that episode and story wise? In my opinion, this finale doesn't deserve any stars. It botched the show's premise completely. But the show's end is what it is, so for what it's worth, definitely 5 stars because Dawson's Creek will forever be one of the best show's of my young adult life.

Summary: Relive the best episode of Dawson's Creek
Review: In my opinion and many others, the series finale episode of Dawson's Creek was one of the best episodes of the show ever, if not THE best. Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson & Michelle Williams give one of their best performances throughout their entire careers. This episode is definetly worth owning on DVD. I won't give away the story or summarize it like so many others have done already, I'll just say that this DVD is going to be full of great special features including commentary on both parts of this 2 hour long episode. Not only do we get to see the episode uncut, we get to see an alternate ending & more scenes from the pilot episode. Make sure you don't miss out on this! Even if you don't own the first season or plan to buy any of the seasons, this is great to watch! Also, for all the DC fans out there, look out for season two, because it will be on DVD November 25th, 2003!

Summary: Finale Review
Review: I'd just like to say the finale was amazing. I loved the entire show. It was a moving show that delt with all facets of life and growing up. I truly loved the finale and I loved Joey's decision. It was the only one she could possibly make. I loved how everything came full circle, how we got a glimpse into each of their lives and how they came to be following school. It truly was a memorable ending. They peiced everything together wonderfully and gave us an ending to each character. I didn't feel there was anything left undone.
