Summary: THE OLD SOUND MAN FROM THE SEVENTIES
Review: Right from the start of this concert, I was immediatly impressed by the sound quality. The accoustic bass guitar is an added treat. The vocals are clear and crisp with no distortion at all. I only purchased this dvd about a week ago and it has become one of my favorites. not bad for 54 year old. I would recommend this dvd to anyone.

Summary: The best DVD so far.
Review: I have several other live concert DVDs. This is by far the best. It was my first DVD, and I still watch it very often. Every time I play, I get overwhelemed by the quality of sound and music. In addition, you can't find acoustic Alice in Chains other than this show. Some friends of mine who don't know Alice in Chains also liked it a lot. This is the one you have to add in your DVD collection.

Summary: Simply Amazing
Review: I am probably the biggest fan of ALICE IN CHAINS on Earth. I used to just really like listening to their music because their songs put you in a different mood than any other band could, but after listening to the concert on cd and then buying the DVD, I became pretty much obsessed with the group. How many bands do you know that can rock you with their electric guitars and then switch over to acoustic and have you fall in love with their music even more? This is a MUST-HAVE for anyone who calls himself an AIC fan, and for anyone who likes grunge, alternative, or soft rock, you should SERIOUSLY consider buying this album or DVD video. By the way, Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell are the greatest musicians of all time.

Summary: Great on VHS, even better on DVD
Review: You gotta love a concert video where they start a song, screw it up and then just start it over, and don't edit anything out! I was only a marginal AIC fan when my brother got me the VHS version of this as a present, but I liked it so much that when I saw that it was out on DVD I had to get it again. It is enjoyable enough on VHS, but both the picture and sound quality on the DVD are way better. It's much easier to make out the lyrics on the DVD, and the sound of all the instruments is amazingly clear. Also, while there are not that many extras, it does have a great menu set-up that allows you to leave the program at any point, explore the menu, and then come right back to the same spot by clicking on the single arrow at the bottom of the screen.

The video is very well edited, with some nice fades, and all the songs sound great. No Excuses was originally an acoustic recording anyway, but it's astounding how well the heavier songs carried over to unplugged versions.

Summary: Staley, Cantrell, Inez, Kinney se lucen con el Unplugged

Summary: Staley and Cantrell-the best mix of talent period!
Review: Anyone who has ever listened to Alice in Chains knows that the music they do seems to deal alot with despair and the rebellious grunge movement of the early 90's. Songs like Angry Chair, Rooster, Would, and Down in a Hole, just to name a few. Though as you listen to this Unplugged version of all these before mentioned songs as well as many of the band's other hits, they all seem to have an new meaning to them. Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell work better as a team than anyone has since Lennon and McCartney because their voices and talents complement each other so well....If you are not an AIC fan, you might be after watching this superb live performance!

Summary: Alive with Alice
Review: This is by far one of the best live concert videos i have ever seen in my life. As a long-time AIC fan, this particular unplugged episode was really satisfying. This euphoric DVD experience offers melodic renditions of all my favorite AIC tunes, such as Rooster, Got Me Wrong, Brother, and Over Now. The show marks the return of AIC after a 3 year hiatus from the stage. I felt this video really emphasized the acoustical talents of all the band members, and especially highlights the vocal attributes of Jerry Cantrell. Alice In Chains 'Unplugged' is a delightful alternative to the naturally gritty sound of the guys in Chains. This selection is definately a must-have for any true Seattle-sound fan. Staley and Cantrell are a match made in harmony heaven.
