Rating: Summary: It's not really that bad! Review: ...My 1 1/2 yr old child has loved it since day two, and the same goes for most of her little buddies. You have to remember, this video was written for kids. Not for parents who want their infants to be the first one on the block doing push-ups. Some of the songs may be annoying, but "work-out in a chair" and the "Benny hop" (with the same women singing!) were written to amuse children, and get kids hopping and moving once they become familiar with them. If you have other Elmo and Sesame Street videos, this one will be enjoyed by your child as well.
Rating: Summary: Although your child may enjoy this, you won't. Review: Although your child may enjoy this, you won't. The songs will never get out of your mind and you will find yourself singing them at work. Other Elmo videos are actually really good, but Elmocize is Elmo's Turkey.
Rating: Summary: One of the worse ones Review: Apparently they hired their singers off the street without hearing them as they are terrible. No surprise in that Cyndi Lauper is horrible, she always was. My 1 1/2 year old will sit and watch it sometimes but she seems to find this one boring as well. It gets a 2 instead of a 1 as it has Elmo and my daughter will watch it sometimes, but other elmo videos you couldn't pull her away from. There are certainly videos out there more deserving of your money. Bleggh!
Rating: Summary: what went wrong with elmo? Review: As a bi fan of elmo and a proud owner of at least 5 different elmos, as one who watches his "elmo s world " on sesame street every morning with my 3 kids - I couldn't belive my eyes. Is this what they think our kids are capable of mentaly and physically? my kids all thought it was BAD no instructions or challanges. nothing to make them want to off of the couch. Its sad. I would of think they would strive for quality not for a brand name tag.

Rating: Summary: Good price - not much exercise Review: Four years and under children will enjoy this video, but they will not get much exercise out of it. I don't really know that they need to at that age. One good thing about it is that it teaches kids about the importance of exercise and good health, so that when they are old enough to move on to other videos, such as Tae Bo Junior, they will be motivated to do the work. The skits are somewhat ridiculous, but then they are for kids, and I have adult tastes.
Rating: Summary: Fun to watch, but not to get fit! Review: I bought this video expecting it to help my 4 year old exercise more, but it it more of an entertaining video ABOUT exercise. The songs are designed to get children moving but the breaks between songs are too long, so the momentum is broken. My daughter who is great at following directions, had a hard time following it. She likes to do things "the right way," but the children are frequently all doing different things(rather than moving in unison)...so she gives up and just watches. It is okay, but I'd say there are better Sesame Street videos out there for your $$. This one tries to be both entertaining and good for exercise, but it meets neither goal very well.
Rating: Summary: Fun Review: I bought this video several months ago for my avid Elmo fan who is now 18 months. When I first bought it she didn't like it much but about a month ago I tried it again and she loved it. She loves watching the children as well as Elmo and Monte and even tries to do the "Benny Hop". It really gets her moving.
Rating: Summary: Cute, catchy and great for tiring out energetic little ones Review: I checked this video out of the library for my six year step-son. He absolutely loved it and I got into it myself. He is really interested in being involved in my workouts and this was a neat way to involve him with risking major injuries. So we did it together and like the previous reviewer , the songs will linger in your head, but I have had worse. My only complaint was with the structure of the video. I just wish it were more structured. It bounced around to much for my taste. But who cares what I think anyway! My step son loved it enough that I am buying it.
Rating: Summary: dust collector - not worth your money Review: I got this video because I love to exercise and thought it would be great for the children. But they don't like it (ages 1, 3 and 4). I also have some preschool children come over once in awhile and I thought I would try it on them. I kept them entertained by doing the tape with them but about half way through I had lost the interest of 6 of them and then the last girl stopped me and told me she didn't want to watch that tape any more. It is better to just record off the TV Elmo and save your money for something better.
