Rating: Summary: We love Elmo! Review: Not only does my 3 yr old love Elmo, I love the cute red fuzzy too! My kid is content to watch this on his own while I'm busy. He also likes to dance around with me and sing the catchy tunes, a great way for him (and me!) to burn energy!
Rating: Summary: Must have Review: If you are only going to buy one Sesame Street video, this is the one to have. My son had surgery when he was 11 months old, and was not supposed to move around much for 3 weeks. We had other videos, but this video was so wonderful. It kept his attention and brought a smile to his face when the Honker comes on the screen. I always buy this video to include in baby presents for my friends. He still watches it after 4 years. It is definitely the most used video in our collection.
Rating: Summary: Great Video - Terrible Audio! Review: I am now on my third copy of this DVD - kudos to Amazon Customer Service for trying their best. The video itself is fantastic and my daughter loves it, but the audio is terrible! At times the audio is screechy, high-pitched and muffled. It is very annoying! I have over 70 DVDs in my collection and am running the audio through a $1,200 Denon receiver. I do not have this problem on any other DVD and it is not my equipment. Shame on the manufacturer for mastering a DVD with such poor sound quality - I think the letters of the day should be QA/QC!
Rating: Summary: Elmo's the best Review: I got this video for my 18 month old son for Christmas. We have watched it at least 3 times a day ever since. It's a great break for me, because I can get a few things done while he's engrossed in the songs. He loves to "Happy Tap" with Elmo. The songs really stick with you, but they're easy on the brain (won't drive you to the insane asylum). I would definitely recommend this for 18 months up to at least 6 (because my 6 year old likes it, too).
Rating: Summary: One of my sons fav's Review: I would have given this a 5 star rating except for a DVD it has no menu options, and no Closed Captioning within the DVD (TV' nicap works on it but is not exact)
Rating: Summary: Great 1/2 hour of entertainment. Review: My now 3 year old son has loved this video from the time he was 6 months old, he still loves it. It has been watched SO MANY times. My second born child (1)can't seem to get enough of the tape either. I have bought many other Elmo tapes and none of them ever get as much attention as this one has gotten. It contains many songs, lots of them educational. One fine face, Five, Three, etc. These songs are not only catchy tunes but they're also very educational. I highly recommend this video.
Rating: Summary: Catchy tunes Review: Our son, Joey, loves Sesame Street. He is glued to the television whenever it is on. In the Best of Elmo, there are two songs that he loves: One Fine Face and Elmo's song. We sing these songs to him all the time. When he is upset, he calms down. It is a great DVD for young children. It is a must have in every home.
Rating: Summary: This Video Was Boring Compared to the Elmo's World Video Review: My 15 month old daughter watches another video called, "Elmo's World" and loves it. So, I figured she'd like this video, too. For some reason, it doesn't compare. Call me crazy, but Elmo's voice and the way he looks is different in this video from the Elmo that we see in the Elmo's World video. The Elmo in this video is strange to look at and to listen to, in a bad, boring way. This video doesn't seem to have the energy that some of the other Sesame Street videos have. If you want to see Elmo at his best, get "Elmo's World".
Rating: Summary: Elmo is the Best! Review: I originally bought this tape for my now 6 year old niece who watched the tape so much that she would sing and act out some of the parts. TBOE has now been handed down to my 16 month old who loves the tape. This is a great tape to pop in the VCR while you are trying to get stuff done around the house and it's a good one to sing and dance to with your kids. The 30 minute time limit is perfect because it gives you time to have a few minutes to yourself and it won't keep your child a prisoner of the television. Of course you may find yourself watching the tape aling with your child singing la-la-la-la, Elmo's Song!
Rating: Summary: Gotta Luv Elmo! Review: A must have video for all Elmo fans! It is one of my daughter's favorites. Elmo is so upbeat and happy, you can't help but love his song and dance routines. And it's nice to get a departure from the daily "Elmo's World" on Sesame Street. Happy Tappin' with Elmo!
