Summary: Too much fun!
Review: I was thrilled when I saw this for sale! I have been looking for the old Puff n Stuff movie for ages. When it came in the mail I felt like a little kid at Christmas. The really fun part was watching the shows I did remember like the Bugaloos and Land of the Lost, as well as all the ones I didn't remember until I saw them like Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. My children are really enjoying them as well. I was surprised with all the high tech shows available. They ask to watch it almost every day. They do not believe me however that Bettina Bizarre is NOT calling her minions Wacky Widows!

Summary: So much fun!
Review: I would definately recomend this video collection to anyone who grew up in the 70's, how fun it was to see the shows I watched when everything was so much simpler! It brought back all the memories of being glued to the TV on Saturdays, waiting with anticipation to see Jimmy on H R Pufnstuf, and watch Sigmund and the Sea Monsters! And of course, what would happen to Will and Holly on Land of the Lost? Would those Sleazestaks finally get them? It's such a blast from the past. I share them with my five-year old now, and he loves them. The funny thing is, once I started watching the videos, I remembered all the songs and characters which I was sure I had forgotten! My son now sings the songs with me, and he likes these shows so much we do a Saturday morning routine just like when I was young, just sitting in front of the TV and wearing our PJ'S eating cereal. It's Grrrreat!!

Summary: Questionable Choices From the Krofft Canon
Review: If you are going to release a sample collection of the shows created by Sid and Marty Krofft, and you're only going to release a single episode per show, then I would hope that the shows chosen are among the best examples of what the the Krofft philosophy is about, or the most entertaining, or the most representative of the day, or maybe the first episode of the series.

But, somehow none of that is true for this collection of programs, a rare miss from the people at Rhino. There is not a single first episode in this group of 13 shows, and many of them are not even the average of the bunch, let alone the best.

Still, if you are in desperate need of a Wonderbug fix or need to see Lidsville right away, this will do the trick. Hopefully, like with other Krofft titles: H.R. Pufnstuf and Land Of The Lost, all episodes of all series will appear on DVD. For now, this will have to do.

Summary: This video is the very best!!
Review: If you love Kroft you are gonna love this video! I looked all over the place and could never find any of the episodes. My sister bought it for me for my birthday and I sat and watched the whole thing with my 3 year old. She sat glued to the TV and So did I. Just two things: Finally! When are they coming out with the next tapes?

Summary: Go back in time 25 years.
Review: If you want your children to experience the wholesome entertainment that you enjoyed when you were a child, buy this boxed set for them. If you have a brother, sister, or friend who loved the Krofft shows along with you in the 70's, send them back in time with the gift of the boxed set. I recommend that you, yourself, buy the tapes along with a box of Count Chocula. Wake up Saturday morning, pop the Krofft tape in the VCR, eat the cereal in front of the set, and feel like a kid again!

Summary: Totally Krofft, right down the the packaging!
Review: Rhino sure stayed true to the Krofft look-and-feel when they put together this one. They also knew what to put on the tapes. Shows like Land of the Lost, Magic Mongo and Lost Saucer have not been on video in nearly 15 years, if at all!

If you are just re-discovering Krofft for the first time since your childhood, you have to pick this one up (as well as the Krofft biography, "Pufnstuf & Other Stuff" also available here at amazon.com) and relive your childhood memories!

Summary: These shows were better off forgotten.
Review: Sid and Marty Kroft were the Kings of Low budget (Very Low Budget) TV production, as is the case with all these shows featured on this DVD. Full of songs that are totaly forgetable, costumes that look like they came from a garage sale, acting that came from the same garage, and humor that was recycled from reruns of the Three Stoodges. These shows were better off left in the archives never to see the light of day or viewership again.

Summary: This is good stuff.
Review: They don't make kids televsion shows like they used to. This is a refreshing blast from the past for those of you 30 somethings out there. It is alot of fun to watch it with your kids. It's funky and groovy as it was back in the 70's.
