Summary: What were they thinking?
Review: I absolutely adored seasons 1 through 3, and eagerly anticipated season 4. Well, I can safely say that although I bought each of the previous DVD's the day they were released, I will never spend money on the fourth. Simply put, the season was awful. I know some people liked the "realism" of #4, but to me the show was not the same. It was a comedy, not a drama, prior to #4. (The worst episode I can recall is the four women attending Miranda's mother's funeral-- how does that have anything to do with "Sex and the City"?) I completely agree with the reviewer who said the characters' personalities went berserk. There is no way Carrie and Aiden should have reunited. They had zero chemistry, (unlike her and Mr. Big-- who becomes almost negligable this season-- another thumbs down).

I personally believe the writers ran out of material, and had to invent new "characters" to keep the show going. I'm sorry, but Samantha is NOT a lesbian, Miranda probably wouldn't have kept her baby, and Carrie wouldn't have spent each episode fawning over a dog. As mentioned, the only personality to stay somewhat consistant was Charlotte's, and the storyline about her and Trey trying to have a baby was a bore.

#4 was a big flop to me. I'll put it to you this way-- it was so bad, I never even had the desire to tune into season 5 on TV.

Summary: It's very sad
Review: ... I find this show to be a very sad commentary on modern society. Men are made out to be clingy idiots and the women are extremely self-centered and striving to be men instead of letting themselves be women. Every episode I've seen of this show makes me hope and pray I never get involved with a Carrie or a Samantha. If modern relationships have come to this, I don't want one. I look at my parents, married for 33 years, as a guide to relationships. They didn't sleep around with everyone, think only of themselves, or bash men or women. They gave to each other and cared for each other, something this cold-hearted show, and its fans, will never achieve. Other than treating women as equals, they had relationships right in the old days. Love, give of each other fully to each other, and quit analyzing everything to death. Until I meet a woman that doesn't think Sex and the City is their personal guide to relationships, I'll enjoy being a bachelor (which isn't too bad!) It's funny, you hear how horrible most men are, and I consider myself to be able to commit, an honest, decent-looking, good man, but I don't really want anything to do with women who think this show depicts their reality well and that's what these women say they want...

Summary: You haven't ordered season four?!?!
Review: Have you ordered Season Four of Sex and the City? Why on earth not? This season finds many interesting twists and turns for our favorite foursome. Let's break it down by character, shall we? We find Samantha settling down....with a woman?? After that fails becuase she misses men, we find her....falling in love? Samantha? Oh yes, kiddies! Samantha falls in love. Did anyone, aside from me, think that wouldn't ever happen? Charlotte and Trey are working on their problems and have decided to have a child. This is wonderful until they spend time with a couple who has a child....those plans are put on hold. Later it's decided that they can handle it. They begin trying again, and Charlotte is upset to find....they can't conceive! This must be a mistake....or is it? Charlotte is crushed, and Trey, after trying the make light of the situation ends up making it worse. Miranda, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have that problem. After having sympathy sex with Steve after he loses a testicle, Miranda discovers she is pregnant. At first, she decides she can't keep the baby. Later, however, it is decided that throughout this season Miranda will enjoy the "benefits" of pregnancy including the joy of her baby boy's first real kick. Finally, we have Ms Carrie. Carrie is back together with Aiden! For those of you who like her with Aiden, you lucky dogs! Not only do they get back together, but he proposes, and Carrie accepts?? They get engaged! However, For those of you, like me, who think she is better with Big, you'll be happy to know Carrie and Aiden don't last. She begins having panic attacks while trying on wedding dresses and it is decided to put the wedding on hold. Eventually, Carrie realizes Aiden doesn't want to wait. He wants to get married now so he can know she belongs to him. Carrie is stunned to realize he still doesn't trust her. The real hardship Carrie must deal with other than another painful breakup with Aiden?? Big leaves New York. Yes, that's right! Big leaves New York for Napa California! Is this the end for Carrie and Big? If you're like me, you've seen seasons 1, 2, and 3 about four times already in anticipation of the latest arrival.....Season Four (mystical music fades into the background) In all seriousness, season four doesn't dissapoint you. As always the fearless foursome takes you on the rollercoaster that is their lives and all you can do is hang on and enjoy the ride!

Summary: The Long Awaited, Eagerly Anticipated 4th Season
Review: Having to wait until May for Sex and the City Season 4 is killing me!! It's total torture! I have developed dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep. And when I do finally fall asleep I wake up in the middle of the night with the same nightmare that Sex and the City won't be out until December!!! Sweat beads roll down my forehead. I lost 6 pounds because I lost my appetite, can't seem to catch my breath and out of nowhere I scream out Carries' name (followed by Samanthas'). To wait is literally killing me, if I don't get my "drug" soon I will be in line at St. Peter's Golden Gate. Even my calender is getting tired of me looking at it. I look out the window and the chirping of the birds annoy me. I can't concentrate on anything without thinking of Sex and the City...and don't even get me started on Season 5 and 6. *sigh*

Summary: Not the same Sex you are used to
Review: I have been a fan of SATC since the very first episode. After the remarkable ending to season 3, I couldn't wait for season 4. In hindsight, I wish I would have stopped watching after season 3. Season 4 used to be the worst season of Sex and the City (that is, until season 5). The show took incredible liberties with each of the 4 characters - changing nearly everything about them entirely. Samantha a lesbian? Carrie back with Aiden and spending time in the country? Miranda having a baby with Steve? The only character who stayed true to herself was Charlotte. If you liked the earlier seasons of SATC, be careful - season 4 may just ruin the entire series for you!

Summary: Sex and the City 4th season

Summary: These are the loves of my life.
Review: I love "Sex and the city" and I can't belive that this year it's to end this adventure of theese 4 ladies. They can easily go on with the show for 5 more years, it's a pity but there's nothing we can do.
I always say "This is the best season" that actually happends with the latest season. In this season you can laugh without stop when Samantha falls in love with a lesbian, when Carrie saw her engagement ring and doesn't like it or when Charlote finds out that Trey is only impotent on her bed. As always in this series you see how this 4 girls love eachother when Miranda's mother dies.
Lucy Lu appears in this season when Samantha want's to buy a Hermes handbag and she has to wait 4 months but she said that was for Lucy and she gets it and then Lucy thinks it's for her and when Samantha tells her the truth Lui comes mad (one thing is to expalin it here but other is to see it).
They' re all great actresses I you haven't seen the series before I recommend you to see from the first season and if you've seen it I don't need to say anything because I know you'll buy it.
I hope that the release next year the fifth and sixth seasons together considering that the fifth has only 8 episodes and I must also say that we, all the fans from this series such do something to make this hit show go on.

Summary: Waiting has never been so hard!
Review: 2 years or so ago when I took a chance and bought Sex and the City season 1 which I had never seen and only heard the rave reviews about (I don't have HBO) I had no idea how good a series it would turn out to be. That [$$$] couldn't have been spent better! I now own all three seasons that are out and am going to eagerly snatch up the fourth DVD like it is the last pair of Jimmy Choo Shoes on earth! I'm broke so you can see that I'm addicted to this show and two months from the release date I'm tearing my hair out and pacing the halls, impatient to get my S&C fix. Withdrawl from ciggarettes was never so hard for me as this withdrawl from my S&C addiction is. Time ticks slowly as I await May.
