Summary: Gr. Grr. Grrrr.
Review: Frasier. The League of Gentlemen. The Golden Girls. Fr. Ted.

Ostensibly four very different comedy series, all with one thing in common: Excellence.

Now consider Friends. Ah, Friends, the last great Cash Cow of Twentieth Century Television, spewing out numerous DVD collections all over the televisual crepe-du-chine.

Thrill! As Chandler, now older, fatter, and sadder than before, spews out his consipated sarcasm with barely-disguised venom.

Chill! As Ross and Rachel Ross and Rachel Ross and Rachel (the least likely couple since those two from 'Chips') whine and priss and evoke feelings of vague-yet-palpable Murderousness in the viewer.

Spill! As Joey and Phoebe bring up the rear of this dismal sextet by glorifying Stupidity and Mental Weakness.

And all in the name of the Almighty Dollar.

Friends, thy name is Mud. And has been since Series 3 came screeching to a shoddy close. I wonder if the UN can put some sort of Embargo on things like this happening again in the future?

More of the same, if you've seen one episode, you've seen them all. Can we please have something decent instead, next time?

Summary: Friends really ROCKK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: If you watch the opening credits in the 6th season, everyone has arquette after there name, because courtney cox got married. Just another piece of useless trivia that is fun to find when you are watching the DVD.
FRIENDS ROCK!!!!!!!!!

Summary: The Best Season - Chandler and Monica
Review: This is the season where Chandler and Monica get engaged. This is my favorite episode. I also liked the one where Reese Witherspoon guest stars as Rachels sister.

Summary: Best Season
Review: People who give this show one star either have not seen it or for just some plain reason don't understand comdey. Friends is one of the greatest sitcoms of all time and this sixth season showcases some of the best episodes the show has ever produced. Aside from season four, season six ranks as my favorite Friends season.

Summary: More of the same ...that's a GOOD thing!
Review: Oddly enough I hadn't seen much of season six until I bought this set (for half-price!!) and sat down to watch it. Loved all the episodes except the clip show. Not a fan of clip shows...

The extras are cool enough. I lost the trivia game, but enjoyed its Las Vegas theme nonetheless. The gag reel was cute, but only ran about 9 minutes (with a teaser announcing another gag reel on the upcoming season seven set). Interviews with Elliot Gould, Christina Pickles, Jane Sibbet (Carol) and Maggie Wheeler (Janice) were cute. Who knew these folks were getting such a kick out of their recurring roles on this series.

The commentary tracks are getting a bit stale and repetitive, though. Nothing very new is shared here that you haven't read elsewhere or heard on sets 1 thru 5. Why are the three head producers/creators the ONLY ones providing commentary on these DVD sets? Do none of the actors want to contribute? Or are Marta Kauffman, David Crane and Kevin Bright just hogging the mic? Whatever... These sets could come without ANY commentary and I'd be happy.

...and am I seeing things or was Lisa Kudrow wearing a wig throughout this entire season (with the exception of the episode "The One That Could Have Been")?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best seasons!
Review: I really do not understand why people do not like this season. The characters are more mature as the series ages, and the plot is quite touching and warm. The sitcom is contains many great episodes such as "Unagi", "Routine", "Apothecary Table", and "Engagement." I can rewatch all the epiosdes and enjoy them as I would seeing them for the first time. Season 6 is not to be missed.
