Summary: Wild Ride
Review: The last days of Laura Palmer are shown in typical David Lynch fashion. Not as good as Blue Velvet, but equally twisted-terrorizing-beautiful-crazy. If you did not watch at least the first few episodes of Twin Peaks this is a bit of a mystery to you. But if you know the story it was magnificent and it was great to see a little more about Twin Peaks; it will never leave my memory and Fire was a great supplement to the small screen masterpiece. I loved it for the what it was, but perhaps it was a bit too plodding. Maybe too long. But I love just about anything Lynch does, and rate this as maybe his third best feature.

Summary: It ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This is the cast that is every director's wet dream.Chris Isaak is a nice surprise. Dana Ashbrook is as tormented as ever as Bobby. And Laura Palmer is still leading us down that dark endless road of sex drugs and rock n roll.If you were locked in to the series, see it.Watch for the clues. LET'S ROCK!!!!

Summary: brilliant!!
Review: If you are a "peaker" , you will really enjoy this prequel of the "twin peaks" episodes. It takes you back when LAURA PALMER was still alive. It's much more intence than the original series was! the soundtrack is excelent;featuring music composed by ANGELO BADALAMENTI who also did the soundtrack for the series. I think that DAVID LYNCH (director) intended to please and thank the much devoted fans (few as they might be)after the network pulled the plug on the original series. For those who know nothing about the show;I do not recommend it:you'll be totally lost and left with unawnsered questions. "fire walk with me" is a very strange, morbid and sad(in it's own way) experience! Only the much devoted "cult folower"of the series will be rewarded from this prequel.

Summary: Excellent
Review: This movie is amazing. David Bowie isn't. We could have done without his artsy fartsy acting. I think the actors who played Laura and Laura's father were totally awesome. They blew me away and I've seen this flick a bakers dozen times and see new things all the time. Luv'd the movie and images. What happended to the Lynch I loved - Lost Highway sux.

Summary: MY favorite film¿it's so trippy!!!
Review: This is David Lynch's best work (it is also most of the actors' best). I've watched the thing 30+ times and counting...And I still want to watch it again. There are SO MANY questions still to be answered. You'll never know all the details, you just have to watch it again.

Summary: Absolutely the BEST movie!
Review: For all of you into cult films, Twin Peaks FWWM is the BEST movie you will ever see. The music is wonderful; the actors and actresses are magnificent; the plot is ingenious. Sheryl Lee (as Palmer) makes this movie. She is fantastic! You will have to watch this movie more than once to understand it and every time you watch it, you will learn something new. An absolutely GREAT film--you cannot miss it!

Summary: Simply the Best
Review: Simply the Best Movie I've seen ever. I was a Peaks fan but only on tape - never saw the thing on TV when it aired and couldn't be bothered. In fact can't see what everybody like about it even now. I did like the movie though. Don't know this Lynche fellow and frankly don't care about him. Do like the movie though but only because the photography is good and the story line too. Simply the best movie to come along in a while - makes you think-- I think - ha ha

Summary: This one is a "must see"!
Review: I'm not sure how I missed out on the Twin Peaks television series. I am sure I have more than made up for any time missed! TP:FWWM was my introduction to Twin Peaks. I am addicted! David Lynch is a genius. Since first seeing FWWM, I have purchased the two hour series pilot and boxed set of all television episodes. I have watched these over and over and never fail to get something new from them! Also, if you can find a copy, "The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer" offers much insight and background as well.

Summary: Stunning movie that fails only in itself
Review: Don't get me wrong. I heartly recommend this film to any TP fan, simply for the last 15 minutes. The unfortunate thing with this film (and indeed, to a degree, most of David Lynch's work) is that it will fail to hit you on every level that Mr Lynch intended purely because it is so intrinsically linked to him.

I do believe that only him himself understands this film (even if some of the stuff isn't meant to be understood). But then, without this, it would not be a David Lynch film, and it would not be Twin Peaks.

If you make it through, it is the final scenes of Laura, our delicate yet razored heroine, that will emotionally cripple the majority of viewers. It is not light viewing. There is horror and anguish, and for me, the final scene of Laura laughing and crying at her own life, the angel who was unable to save her when she was alive, that she didn't even believe in, this is what makes the movie.

The previous hour and a half, I'm not convinced about. It is enjoyable, and it does answer some questions. The bar scene and the traffic scene are both instant classics. But the sketchy drawing of her life does not do justice to her death.

I'll stop there 'cos I'm getting far too deep. Look, this is a must see first movie. If you don't like it, fine. It does not make you any less a person, it's just you may be seeing different aspects to Lynch's psyche (something tells me the entire thing pokes fun at TP fans anyway).

If you do like it, buy it, treasure it, re-watch it again and again. Just don't try and explain why you like it, because no-one will truly understand.
