Summary: More Backstage Pants!
Review: I agree with Matthew (review above). One of the best things about the first SpongeBob DVD was getting to see the voice actors on the "Backstage Pants" special feature. The special features on the subsequent DVD just aren't that great. That said, i recommend this DVD anyway for the laugh-a-minute potential of every episode. My personal favorite is the one where SpongeBob cheats while trying to pass his driving test. Love how Mrs. Puff, puffs up everytime SpongeBob smashes into anything, and she has to be taken to the hospital. A real hoot!

Summary: Now we've got MermaidMan and BarnacleBoy II on DVD!
Review: If you like to hear the song, "Loop De Loop" as much as I do, it's in the episode, "Your Shoe's Untied" which is on this DVD. This DVD also contains the double-length episode, "The Sponge Who Could Fly" with another cute finale-I will make a replica of the constellation of SpongeBob in that episode by putting glow stars on the ceiling. The episodes, "MermaidMan and BarnacleBoy II" and "The Chaperone" are also in this DVD. Plus, specially marked copies of this DVD included a free copy of, "SpongeBob SquarePants' Joke Book." They should do more SpongeBobDVD promotions-how about some mail order promotions or a DVD available with a free plush toy?

Summary: My personal favorite in Spongebob dvd offerings
Review: Out of the 5 Spongebob DVDs, this is my personal favorite. To each their own, but this collection has me laughing non stop from first episode to last, my favorite episode being "Bubble Buddy" but the rest are just as great. The episodes are as follows (1) - THE SPONGE WHO COULD FLY is a double length episode, starting off with Patchy the Pirate and his parrot trying to find the 'lost episode' and their juvenile hijinks until they find it, and the episode is where Spongebob tries to find various ways to fly, but fails, until a hair dryer inflates his pants. Everyone in Bikini Bottom wants Spongebob to do favors for them that they normally can't do because of his abilities to fly, and they abuse the favors, while Spongebob is trying to hurry so he can fly with the jellyfish, which is his original intent. (2) - PLANKTON is another episode featuring Mr. Krabs enemy, who tries to steal the Krabby Patty formula. Plankton tries to befriend Spongebob, and fails, so he implants a brain control device into Spongebobs head while he's asleep, and takes him to the Chum Bucket. Will Plankton get the secret formula? Find out for yourself. (3) - BOATING SCHOOL is about Spongebob trying to get his boating license with his instructor Mrs. Puff. Spongebob fails repeatedly, so he and Patrick devise a scheme that could possibly help him finally receive the license - by stuffing a radio talker into Spongebobs head. (4) - SUDS is the episode where Spongebob becomes ill and Sandy has to take him to the hospital. Patrick tries to scare Spongebob into not going because of the fate that awaits him with his doctor visit. (5) - MERMAIDMAN AND BARNACLE BOY 2 is about Spongebob and Patricks heros once again. Spongebob wins the magic conch from the Mermaidman show and has the power to call upon his heros in time of need. This is one of the funniest episodes ever. (6) - THE CHAPERONE is about Pearl (Mr. Krabs daughter) being stood up for her prom, and Mr. Krabs makes Spongebob be her new date. He gives himself a makeover and tries his best to keep a good reputation for Pearl. (7) - Bubble Buddy is my personal favorite. Patrick and Sandy are out of town, so Spongebob tries ways to create a new friend to occupy his time, and eventually creates Bubble Buddy. Spongebob takes Bubble Buddy everywhere, drives Squidward nuts at the Krusty Krab, pays for their meal with "Bubble Money", insults and peeves off everyone at Bikini Bottom, so everyone surrounds Spongebob and his friend with sewing needles to end the madness for good. (8) - YOUR SHOE'S UNTIED is about Patrick buying a new pair of shoes, but doesn't know how to tie them. He asks Spongebob for help, and even Spongebob forgets how to tie the shoes after untying his own shoelaces. This stresses Spongebob so bad, that he goes to work and everywhere tripping over his shoelaces and walking funny, until he remembers how. (9) - PREHIBERNATION WEEK is the week before Sandy goes into hibernation, and Spongebob offers to spend time with her. Little does he know that Sandy wants to spend her last few days playing extreme sports, from finding the hay in the needle stack, to riding a bike in the industrial park to playing a round of extreme jacks, this is another of the best episodes on this collection. Overall, this is a riotous collection and not to be missed by Spongebob fans. Probably one of the best collections so far. I also recommend the Halloween collection.

Summary: More Spongebob!!!
Review: The episode "Bubble Buddy" makes this DVD worth owning alone. But all the episodes on this DVD will make you laugh. And it's worth owning because everytime you watch a Spongebob episode, you catch some witty thing you never realized before.

The only drawback is not enough special features. This disc has more than the last 2 DVDs released, but I would like to see more "behind the scenes" Watching Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, and Rodger Bumpass perform the voices on the Nautical Nonsense DVD was so cool. I would like there to be more of that. I realize that they probably didn't videotape them doing every episode, but I hope they do with any new episodes they make.

Summary: more great adventures from our favorite sponge
Review: The episodes on Lost at Sea aren't a great as those on Nautical Nonsense, but this is still a great group of shows. There is the 'lost episode' "The Sponge Who Could Fly" which spoofs the musical cartoons Disney and others have put out, but it was a weak episode (including live action from Patchy the Pirate). This episode also has commentary. The best episodes were: "Boating School" - where SpongeBob, with Patrick's help, cheats on his boating exam; "Suds" - SpongeBob gets sick, Patrick plays doctor;and "Youre Shoe's Untied" - featuring a great Gary ending. Also on this dvd there is "Prehibernation Week", "Plankton", "Bubble Buddy", "Chaperone" and there is "Mermaidman and Barnacleboy II". Unlike Nautical Nonsense, this dvd doesn't contain much in the way of extras. There's SpongeBob's 7 life strategies (a cute commercial for the cartoon) and the story board for "The Sponge Who Could Fly". This dvd also has previews for several of the Nickelodeon cartoon.

Summary: Lost episode should stay lost
Review: The lost episode should stay lost. It is long, boring and only partially animated. They should kiel-haul patchy. It is not sponge worthy. The rest of the dvd is ok.

Summary: OOPS! Watch that song lyric in the Loop de Loop song!
Review: This DVD contains the episode, "Your Shoe's Untied." Do you know the "Loop De Loop" song at the end of the episode? If so, have you noticed the lyric, "Like bunny ears or a Christmas bow?" I think it should be edited so that the song goes, "birthday bow" instead of Christmas bow. What about people who don't even celebrate Christmas?

Summary: Bring it Around Town
Review: This DVD has some of my favorite episodes on it. You have Mermaidman and Barnacleboy II where Spongebob gets his chance to become a superhero. The episode where Spongebob tries to pass his boating test (an original). So, head over and get it now!

Summary: OOPS! Watch that song lyric in the Loop de Loop song!
Review: This DVD is absolutely hilarious. I loved it. I am not a young child but it is still incredibly funny. I've never understood why this cartoon is based called a childrens cartoon. Most of the adults or older viewers I know think the show is even funnier than the kids do. More than half of the humor on here adults can easily relate to and kids cannot. Another thing I've never understood is how a cartoon about a talking sponge and his undersea friends could be so funny. Its beyond me how stupid the concept is but how funny the show is. This DVD, Lost at Sea, is the best DVD my family owns ( my younger brother has three others ). From top to bottom the episodes on this one are hilarious. Not one of them ever gets boring. The Sponge Who Could Fly is a classic double episode. Plankton is another uproarious episode. The talking sponge is by far the best character in the show. Patrick the Starfish is also hilarious but theres just something about Spongebob that is incredibly funny. But dont take my word for it, watch Nickelodeon and watch this cartoon
