Summary: Great workout!!!! Very Professional Production
Review: I am very happy with this DVD and its content. The workout is great....not boring at all. My friend bought this DVD and when I did the work out with her I knew I had to have one too. So,of course I went to Amazon for the best deal. The quality of the production is very professional and well worth the money.

Summary: This is an incredible DVD!
Review: I did taekwondo locally until I reached my brown belt, but when class schedules changed, it was impossible for me to conform to the new times. I tried to carry on at home, but it was hard to stay motivated. I went back to some of the fitness DVDs I own---The Firm, power yoga, Pilates---and while they each have their own benefits, martial arts is definitely the most fun and addictive of all the forms of exercise I've ever done.

There's no goofy music or Denise-Austinesque cuteness, which I consider to be a MAJOR plus. The videography is probably on the lower-budget side, but it does not even remotely detract from the effectiveness of the workout. I think this will appeal equally to men and women, as there's no superfluous chitter-chatter from the instructor, Susan Reeves. Susan is down-to-earth and starts the program with a basic truth which is lacking in most exercise progams: There's no magic bullet. Hard work is the only way to change your body.

This is a tough DVD, and I think the people who will benefit from it most are those who have a little previous martial arts experience, if only because they will be familiar with the terms (reverse punch, karate stance, etc.). As there isn't a lot of time dedicated to explaining the basics, it's good to watch the whole thing through once before you start.

Tomorrow, you WILL know you did this workout, but that's the whole idea, right?

Summary: I don't have a clue...
Review: The producer of this DVD has some serious quality control issues to address. Difficult to describe the quality of the actual workout, as none of the copies seem to work.

Summary: One of the best
very unique
Review: This is a very unique video because its using karate as an aerobics workout.
The workout is really tough & the instructor is very clear and doesn't seem
to mind working out like there's no tomorrow. This video has helped me get
stronger and has actually helped improve my martial arts form and
flexibility. Susan Reeves is not bad to look at either. One of the best
karate workout tapes out there.
